Among the amenities are a great patio for grilling, an inviting porch for afternoon sunsets and margaritas, a closed-off and professionally landscaped yard, and two flatscreens that you shouldn't watch (because there's too much fun stuff you should be doing).
Start your mornings by walking a block and a half to Sunset Landing and having a great breakfast on the deck overlooking Deal Lake. Then bike to the beach (one of the highest-rated beaches in all of New Jersey!) for a day in the sun and ocean. Take a walk on the boardwalk and make a dinner reservation at Langosta Lounge for a meal you'll remember all winter long. Stop long enough in front of the Stone Pony to feel its history and see which bands are on the marquis. And then walk into Ocean Grove, a town about as different from Asbury Park as possible but equally interesting in its quaintness, charm, and architecture. Head back to your spot in the sand for an afternoon nap. Before wrapping up your beach day, stop into the Beach Bar for some people-watching, or head back for margaritas on the porch. After dinner, head to Cookman Ave for the cool shops and bars (don't miss Johnny Mac's!).

Great patio for grilling, inviting porch for afternoon sunsets and margaritas, a closed-off and professionally landscaped yard, a block and a half from the lake and a great porch breakfast at Sunset Landing, and two televisions that you shouldn't watch (because there's too much fun stuff you should be doing in Asbury). A bike ride to the beach, the shops, bars (don't miss Johnny Mac's!), and restaurants (Brick Wall is still the best) on Cookman, and ice cream (has to be Nagle's) across the wooden bridge in equally interesting (but in a much different way!) Ocean Grove.
This house is the best! It's perfect for a family of 4, or a girls/boys weekend, or just a solo get away. It's location is easy to get to the beach, an easy bike or car ride and has everything needed for a mini vacation. Cabs are also cheap to and from the main restaurants and bars. If you're familiar with the jersey shore, this house is 20 minutes from point pleasant, freehold mall, and offers several other beaches along and next to Asbury. Great atmosphere and everyone's so nice and friendly! The best part is we got to bring our fur child with us which is super important. This house makes you feel like it's your childhood home. That's how comfortable and charming it is. Neighbors are also really nice and easy to talk to. We had the best vacation we've had in a long time. Absolutely recommend!!
I stayed at this Asbury house starting in October through May as a winter rental to be closer to work. Even through the winter months there was a lot going on in Asbury! I was on the beach until the end of September, and the restaurants and bars on Cookman (main street)stayed busy all year round. It felt like home as soon as I walked in the door. Bob and Grace were great to work with, and will handle all of your needs. The house had everything I could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen, to towels, to cleaning supplies. There was not much extra I had to bring for the 7 months I stayed in the house. The house was very clean and well organized, and the side yard was a great plus. If looking for a winter rental, this house will easily become your new home.
My boyfriend and I have stayed at this house twice and couldn't be happier! Bob and Grace are wonderful and make sure their guests have an easy, relaxed stay. The house is cute and beachy with a nice side yard. Stay here if you want to feel at home, go to the beach, and do business with great people.
This rental will stop feeling like one as soon as you open the door. I felt at home and comfortable immediately. The owners provided everything you could possibly need while there. The most cooking I did was coffee, toast and microwaving leftovers, but there's everything you'll need in the fully equipped kitchen. I have difficulty with my knees and feet so it was great having the 1/2 bath on the main floor. The house was very clean and well organized. The owners kept in touch before, during and after the stay, but not in an intrusive way, in a helpful way (Bob is super-organized and that is extremely helpful). You can walk to Deal Lake, and eat breakfast or lunch at Sunset Landing, which is so relaxing. I took long walks and admired the historic homes in this quiet residential neighborhood. Bob will leave you beach chairs, beach towels and bikes, but I drove the short distance to the beach (10-12 blocks). Parking was not an issue at the beach during the week. Don't miss Ocean Grove for the best ice cream and shopping in the boutiques. The town's restaurants are first rate. I stayed here alone with my dog most of the week, with company two nights and felt totally secure. My dog had as much of a vacation as I did and felt immediately at home. Oh, and the neighbors were super nice! I would recommend this property without reservation.
This house was a wonderful home for our week of vacation. My husband, 2 year old and I felt at home right away in this well-appointed, clean and comfortable home. Personally, I loved the sunny master bedroom and deep bathtub. My daughter loved the fenced in yard to play and the porch swing. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals, but there were tons of great restaurants in Asbury Park. Throughout our trip, I kept marveling at how quiet the neighborhood is. There are many homes close together and we would often see folks out and about, usually walking their dogs, yet we never heard a peep from anyone. Oh, and there were tons of closets in for storing your personal belongings.
Bob was great to rent from and kept everything organized leading up to and right after our stay. I highly recommend this place.
This past winter through the Spring I rented this charming home from Grace & Bob. As a professional woman with a dog, the fenced in yard was great, especially on the colder mornings! The home has a great warn energy with a wonderful feng shui appeal. I really enjoyed and felt safe in Asbury Park during my stay, it remains a vibrant shore town even in the winter. I was very pleasantly surprised.
Bob was very attentive and easy to reach.
He would take the extra steps to make sure I had a great stay.

between Memorial Day and the week of July 4th, the rate is $1350 a week (including cleaning fee);
between July 4th and Labor Day, the rate is $1500 a week (including cleaning fee), and
between Labor Day and October 1, the rate is $1250 a week.
During the OFF-SEASON (October 1 - third week of May), cable and utilities will be included in the $1750/month rate if tenant leases for six or more months.
