This was our second stay in this quaint abode on the creek. We enjoyed our stay so much last year that we were ecstatic to hear that there were dates available for our vacation this year. The cottage is well maintained and has enough room for everyone to spread-out and have their own space. Having linens and supplies already on hand make the travel to this property easy and stress-free. The back-porch and functional back yard are one of our favorite parts as the kids can create their own adventures in the creek behind the property or just playing games in the lawn. A short trek down the lane takes you to Woodmere Beach where you can stroll and look for beach glass, swim or just enjoy the view. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and welcoming to vacationers. My entire family would give this house an A+ rating and we would definitely stay here again.
The cottage is a true gem. The open concept makes it extremely inviting and easy to have extra people over to visit. We rented this along with the cottage next door when my son graduated from Behrend to allow for more family. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice dinner for the family and his friends. Lynne was extremely helpful in explaining parking, association rules for the small neighborhood, and helping with our crazy logistics to try to handle everyone. The house has plenty of towels, a great firepit, lots of lawn chairs, and so accessible to walk down to the lake. Trash pick up had recently been changed so when we arrived most of the cans were full. Lynn was out of town for the day but answered immediately and even volunteered to come pick some up the next day. She is very responsive and makes the rental a smooth process. Lynne is very organized and has done a great job with providing directions, information for the area, and house details. We had a blast and hope to rent again.
The house and neighborhood were very quaint. Everything you need is already stocked. We were so impressed with the lake and magnitude of its size and beautiful sunsets. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet, fire pit, playing cards, skipping stones in the water and the awesome stargazing as well. Good old fashion relaxation and fun! Would definitely stay here again.
My bridesmaids and I stayed at Angela's lake house for the wine festival. It is quaint, beautiful and fully stocked with whatever you need. Tv's, dvd players, video games, fire pit the works. We had a blast and will come back!
The house was great! Very cozy and close to the water. Had a great backyard and all kinds of extras were provided. We didn't have to go out and purchase anything! Would definitely stay here again!
Vert nice house right on the lake, with shaded deck & great breezes of the lake which were very much needed for the heat & humidity on the Labor Dat weekend....great location in town, as you could walk anywhere. Only negative would be, only 1 bathroom...we had 5 adults I our party
Relaxing neighborhood with 5 small streets great to take a walk or bike. Three houses from private neighborhood beach access. Enjoy relaxing on the beach during the day and it is also great to sit at beach in the evening and
enjoy the sunsets with a bonfire! If the weather is warm no worry there, brand new air conditioning unit installed Spring 2013!
