THINGS TO DO IN PROVIDENCIALES
Things to Do in Providenciales,
Snorkeling - Green turtles, angelfish and parrot fish are just a few of the stunning creatures that await snorkelers only a few feet from the shore.
The “White House” located in the Princess Alexander National Park is a short five minute drive from the property, where snorkelers can easily spot an variety of marine life and array of colored corals, starfish, sponges and amazing sea shells through the crystal clear waters
Scuba Diving - Diving in the Turks and Caicos is a superb experience due to the combination of the crystal clear waters, excellent visibility (200ft), coral reef and abundance of marine life and is considered by many as one of the top ten Scuba diving destinations in the world; it is a “must dive” destination.
The Turks and Caicos Islands are surrounded by an extensive coral reef system (65 miles across and 200 miles long). Where the shallow turquoise waters of the Caicos Bank meet the outer coral reefs, the terrain drops from a depth of 45ft to 6000ft. This wall drop off is drastic and is where corals thrive and fish life flourishes.
Excellent diving can be found around most of the TCI and popular dive sites include:
• Providenciales Princess Alexandra National park
• Providenciales Northwest Point
• West Caicos
• French Cay
• Pine Cay
• North Caicos
• Middle Caicos
• Grand Turk
• Salt Cay
Your Concierge will assist in pre-arranging dive excursions and packages with one of the many fully qualified PADI dive masters on island who will ensure a day of underwater wonderment from the moment you step aboard their boats.
ABOUT TURKS AND CAICOS
The Turks and Caicos Islands is a ‘Beautiful by Nature’ coral archipelago of 40 islands and cays, only 8 of which are inhabited. In addition to the world’s most spectacular beaches, the Turks and Caicos Islands has the third largest barrier reef in the world and is internationally renowned as a premier Caribbean dive destination and luxury retreat. Providenciales (PROVO), the most populated of the Turks and Caicos Islands, offers a host of activities and diversions to keep you busy and entertained.
Thank you for choosing Eva's View Villa. I am an island girl born in Nassau, The Bahamas. My parents moved back to Turks & Caicos when I was 5 years old. I grew up in Providenciales and lived between the Bahamas and the Caicos Islands for the majority of my life. I love everything island life has to offer! The culture, the tropical sea breeze, the 365 day summer feel, the beautiful by nature beaches with its soft milky white sand, the native food, the culture, the people... There is no place like it!
Deadria purchased this studio in 2003
I want visitors to appreciate all island life has to offer in their limited time here. Whether it's simply to relax, to being pampered at one of our local spas, to an adventure filled day exploring our waters, horseback riding along the beautiful Grace Bay shores, kiteboarding, snorkeling, jet ski, scuba diving or just to bask in the sun enjoying a lazy day on any of our beautiful beaches. Whatever your choice, we want you to make the most of your time from the minute you arrive by providing what you'll need to do just that.
When you're looking for somewhere to escape to, and you want nothing but rest and relaxation and to feel like you have disconnected yourself from the hustle and bustle of life, you found Eva's View!! We are located in an area, where there is very little traffic, you get to leave everything behind and enjoy your space... You get total privacy... Unwind and regroup, you answer to no one, only nature calling you...
Eva's view was perfect, Deadria, more than the property manager, she's a tour guide, a friend. I really enjoyed my stay at this place. It is a really quiet place with all you need to feel at home, in this tropical paradise. Stunning view of the ocean from the balcony. In addition, if this is not the cheapest place to stay in Provo, it's close.
Thank you Deadria for all your help and kindness!!!
You definetly need a rental car to get around Provo.
Btw the best beach I ever saw in my life is really close. Remember this name when you'll look at Provo's map: emerald point.

Eva's View is in a beautiful spot. My teenage daughter and I had a fabulous time! After our 5 day stay there we moved into a hotel and both of us wished we had booked Eva's View instead; we missed it. The unit is supplied with everything you need for a great trip. Dee Dee is such a sweet hostess and she went out of her way to meet us at the airport and get us to her place safely. It was such a comfort to be able to follow her from the airport since I had never been to the island. I recommend this place and would stay there again if I ever get the chance.
Had a good time, will return next time to honeymoon.
My husband and I visited Provo for 8 days and stayed at Eva's view. Deidra welcomed us with a big hug and showed us around her property. We were very happy with our accommodations. The place was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. She had beach toys, chairs, floats, a skim board, cooler bag, towels, blanket etc for the beach. The patio is extremely private and is great for watching the sun come up. Deidra lives in the downstairs section but you only see her if you call her. She left us a cell phone to make local calls and answered any questions we had about the island. You will need a car if you stay here. It is very secluded which we loved. Every day we traveled the island and we typically hung out at the Leeward beach (private community-about a 5 minute drive). There were only a handful of people there everyday. So quiet and beautiful. Deidra's kitchen comes with a stove, toaster oven and she even has a bbq. We bought groceries at the IGA and would eat breakfast and lunch there. We also stayed in one night and bbq'd steaks. We did not avail of the air conditioning as we enjoyed the breeze coming through the windows at night. Deidra has two adorable dogs which we didn't mind as we had left three dogs at home. We enjoyed their company; however something to keep in mind if you are not an animal person. We would definitely return to Eva's view. It was just what we needed. If you are looking for a quiet private spot, then this is the spot for you. Definitely check out the local restaurants and tour the island (especially Chaulk Sound). An amazing place!
My husband and I throughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in Provo. Eva's View is the perfect place to stay with everything you need. Deadria is a wonderful asset, always there when we needed her. She has a green thumb and working very hard to accomplish her vision for her yard. Rented a car from a great company called Rent a Buggy. Having a vehicle is a must and gave us the opportunity to explore the island and visit Grace Bay beach along with all the other hidden gems. Tried many of Provos restaurants, all were good, our favourite being Bay Bistro. Visiting Provo is a vacation we will soon not forget. Would love to return one day and once again stay at Eva's View.
Great place with a washer, dryer, murphy bed, small kitchen 2 burner stove, fridge. All we really needed. The local barking dogs at night were a nuisance but we eventually got used to them. If you paid extra for the ac i suppose you wouldn't hear them. It gets hot up stairs though. You will need a car. We had lots of great food. Bugaloos and somewhere were our favorites. We snorkeled Smiths reef and a couple others. Coolers, beach towels and chairs were a nice addition. We were greeted at the airport by the host and car rental company which made it convenient. The fish fry was ok, the jerk chicken however was amazing. Expensive but my favorite is Turks and Caicos.
T and C is a wonderful island and Grace Beach the best beach in the Caribbean- I would venture. Even my wife took to bobbing in the shallows, a very uncertain ocean swimmer. Great snorkeling off Coral Gardens- better than St. John! and just off the beach! Ate several times at Bay Bistro overlooking Grace Bay, great lunch and brunch. Did the noisy Fishfry Thursday eve on the Bite Beach- but too much of a scene for us. Plenty of opportunities to eat conch fritters elsewhere.
As for the apartment -was this a great spot! On an otherwise luxury priced island, this value apartment hits all the boxes. The apartment is fairly fresh, nice kitchen with all the amenities you could want. Lovely view of the ocean and Conch farm from the deck. As the other reviews state, Deadria is a welcoming and yet hands-off manager of the property. Never heard a peep unless we called her! It's her home, in a sparsely populated area on the Leeward side of the island. Easy access to other beaches with a vehicle and certainly within walking distance of Pelican beach without a car. We had a small car from the close-by car rental company, KK and T's, which worked out fine. The only reason I would stay elsewhere would be to avoid the necessity of renting a car. That said, one would have to reconcile spending a bundle on taxis instead. Only suggestion is to fix the screen in the screen door of the slider. We paid extra for the a/c as it can be humid and hot.
Would plan to take a ferry over to North Caicos next time if staying here. The ferry is a short walk away from apartment. Nice touch to have a washer dryer in the apartment. Bring less clothing and lighter things next time and just wash them. Pack coffee and tea- The IGA is sticker shock territory - prices easily double that of stateside market. I recommend their roast chickens, a good value around $10. that makes a great dinner at home. Sat next to a woman who spent 1100 PER NIGHT on a room at the Somerset and yet brought a duffle bag full of food with her.
All in all a wonderful week in a not too populated and civilized environment. Thanks to Deadria for a relaxing and beautiful week away!
Enjoy the attractions that are only minutes away, Eva's View sits next door the the famous Caicos Conch Farm. Mini Golf is two minutes walk and is the spot to enjoy karaoke every night, live band on thursdays and full moon party once a month or just sit and have a drink with friends or play a few rounds of mini golf on the course while watching the crowd enjoy themselves. Heaven Down Rock Dock just pass Caicos Conch Farm in the same neighborhood and is only a two minute drive to where all the ferries and other boats meet, go Jet Skying, go fishing and more or take a boat ride to other neighboring islands like North and Middle Caicos, Parrot Cay, Little Water Cay or enjoy all the other water adventures by booking your day with one of the friendly local boat captains. We are also less than a 5-10 minute drive, to all the shops, doctors office, banks and grocery store in the nearby Grace Bay strip. Just plan your day full of fun, adventure and activities, then head back home to take in the sunset and enjoy the quiet before the breeze drifts you off to sleep.
