We are less than a mile to the Convention Center (0.93); a quick Trolley ride, or about a 15 minute walk. The Trolley station is located a little over a block from the Bungalow.

Petco Park, the Convention Center, the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, and the rest of scenic downtown San Diego are minutes away and accessible Trolley, walking, Uber/Lyft, taxi, or a very short drive.

Free street parking and a free public multi-level parking structure across the street for day time parking only ( if needed)

Our location is one block south of Interstate 5 and one block north of a San Diego trolley stop.

We are located on the eastern edge of the Gaslamp/downtown San Diego, near the historic Chicano Park, surrounded by the warehouse district, residential, and the Mercado del Barrio shopping center. Our Neighborhood and street is an urban environment with all the various sights and sounds that it includes; trolley and trains, local traffic, occasional ambulance and fire engines... City sounds.

Our location is one block south of Interstate 5 and one block north of a San Diego trolley stop.

We have beach towels, beach blanket, chairs, umbrella, boogie board, and a portable cooler.

Across the street from the Mercado del Barrio, Trolley stop, or walk to the Convention Center or Gaslamp Quarter.

Cross the street to the Mercado del Barrio, for your grocery needs, also a great place to eat inside (37,000sf grocery store w/ deli, bakery and more). Also in the Mercado is an Ice cream shop with great food, little Caesars pizza, Asia Wok, Iron Fist brewery, Mariscos El Pulpo, (great for Taco Tuesdays) and much more on the way !

Rental bike stations available in the Mercado as well.

Casa De Corazon Is set in a unique Urban Neighborhood, there is always something going on within walking distance, and is centrally located to major attractions in San Diego. When we purchased this property, we knew that the City would be building a Mercado across from our property. We are close to the Convention Center, downtown, Gaslamp, Little Italy, Balboa Park, and the San Diego Zoo. We are located along the San Diego Bay, close to the San Diego Convention Center, Centre City East Village, and the New Ballpark. Adjacent to all forms of transportation and the San Diego Bay, its eastern San Diego location is immediately next to a burgeoning downtown area.

What makes this bungalow unique

We are set in a very unique Urban Neighborhood, Art, Music, Farmers Market, all within walking distance, the Root Factory, has Local Artists, Art shows, Music, Movies etc.. Casa de Corazon Bungalow is perfect for the Traveler on the go, and Conventioneers, needing a close place to stay while in town, we are less than 1 mile to the Convention Center. 6 Blocks from the Ballpark, and less than a mile to Embarcadero Park.

Our stay at Bo and Athena's place in San Diego Gaslamp Quarter was the highlight of our month long holiday in the US. They were the best hosts that anyone could ever ask for and their place was impeccable. Everything is thought of here and it really was the best experience ever. Their places are very secure and super convenient. There is a brand new shopping complex across the road with a supermarket, bakery, ice creamery and other little shops also. The trolley to downtown is 1 block away and quick to get to downtown and all the restaurants and night life. Bo and Athena provided us with all the information that you need to know about the area and San Diego in general. Their place is modern and up to date with everything that you need provided they literally have everything you could possibly need. Their place was extremely clean and comfortable and the only thing we would have changed is we would have stayed much longer here. We would not contemplate staying anywhere else and would not hesitate staying there again. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to our next stay with you.

Very convenient for SD Trolly and groceries.

Bo and Athena Rae are great hosts and they make sure you're comfortable. The unit is two blocks from the SD Trolley which will take you most places (Gaslamp, Itialian town, Old Town, Downtown). There's a grocery store across the street and a great coffee shop on the corner. Had a great stay.

Charming and cozy place in an up and coming neighborhood

We found this place and thought we'd give it a try. Barrio Logan was not a great area years ago but is coming back very nicely. Lots to do within walking distance including a nice little mercado (market) right across the street. It is close to freeway entrances and the main road into downtown San Diego. The Gaslamp District is only 5 minutes away. The place itself is cozy and very clean. Nicely appointed with everything you need. For the price it is a good value. The owners are terrific to deal with and she went out of her way to call me a couple of days before our stay, go over parking and such. All in all we would recommend the place.

Great location starting from waking up to freshly roasted coffee next door to Ryan's coffee, to the close proximity to the Bay, Coranado, gaslamp district. Althena & Bo were helpful with suggestions and friendly too!

Better than a hotel room

It is small, but I have stayed in smaller hotel rooms. It's private and quite secure. Nice neighborhood and just two blocks from the SD Trolley station. Quite convenient for the Convention center. Clean and comfortable.

Immaculate and pleasant, in a great neighborhood.

The garden area was beautiful and well-maintained. The unit itself was clean and modern. Athena Rae and Bo thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We will stay here again if we have the opportunity.
