A lovely one-bedroom suite overlooking the main yard. A former winery recently renovated with warm oak floors which still keeps it original charm. Old entrance doors, high timber ceilings, the thick walls and the country furniture live together with the modern bathroom and kitchen and the traditional family linens. A special place for a pure romantic holiday.
Villa Caprera is part of a village built in 1890 in Art Nouveau Style. It is said to be built by Garibaldi's doctor from which the name of Caprera. The place retains its original charm, still offers all modern comforts and facilities thanks to a recent conversion.
Ideally located for visiting Siena and its countryside, the Chianti area, the 'crete senesi' fascinating landscape, the Tuscan seaside, Florence, Pisa, Montalcino, San Gimignano and Pienza. Rome is only two hours away.
A picturesque square with an ancient iron well gives access to the villa; well kept gardens surround the property.
The interiors feature furniture of the Italian design tradition along with modern objects of design. Stylish linens, bed covers and table ware are carefully selected for our guests.
For its elegance, the villa is an ideal accommodation for wedding celebrations, honeymoons, romantic escapes.

Daniella was a warm and friendly host. A lovely torte and a few basic food items were waiting for us on our arrival. She actually led us to a nearby market to shop for groceries. When we left she gave us a road atlas to help us on our way. The apt was clean and classically beautiful. As well the grounds, patio, garden were a nice spot for a glass of wine with Siena and the Tuscan Hills for our view.
Villa Caprera is a farmhouse in the countryside 3 km from Siena. It is an ideal location for visiting the famous city, the Chianti countryside and the towns of Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Pienza and San Galgano and for attending Siena's Palio.
Beautiful wineries in the area are open to the public for visit and wine testing of Brunello, Chianti and Nobile and olive oil production
Close to the villa is the ancient Monastery, built in the X sec AC.
The thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni and Petriolo are popular attractions.
The Maremma sandy beaches are 1 hour drive from Caprera.
