About the property

Villa, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-6)

Sound View Villa at Juba Sound offers the best of any beach vacation. This stylish and up-to-date villa has been personally decorated with local art, furnished with queen bed in master, single bed in second bedroom and a roll away bed for an additional fee. There are two flat screen TVs, stereo, IPod dock and DVD player. The villa includes linens, beach chairs, beach towels, cell phone, free calls to North America, free Wi-Fi plus a complimentary car to comfortably get you and your family around the island. Kitchen is fully equipped (yes, there's a blender! Great for frozen drinks!) for the chef in you!

Sound View Villa is located on the south side of Provo, with beautiful unobstructed views of the ocean and sound - the water colour is ever-changing, from a creamy turquoise colour to 100+ additional shades depending on the sun and cloud conditions! The breeze flowing off the coast line is so amazing ( A Kite boarder's dream) you will never have to use the A/C. Enjoy everything Providenciales has to offer in this most convenient location – just 3 minutes away from Grace Bay award winning beach and the shopping plazas.

A key feature of this villa accommodation is the ultimate privacy it affords you at an affordable rate, with easy access to many of the facilities on the island within a 3 to 6 minute drive. The villa would suit either a couple on their own, a family with teenagers/grown children or friends who want to vacation together yet still have that element of privacy afforded by their own units.

The island offers many comforts: including secluded beaches, world class scuba diving with a variety of operators to choose from, world class fishing, sailing, 18 hole championship golf course, shopping, gambling, many restaurants, modern grocery stores, the only conch farm in the world, and a quiet Caribbean life style on this 37 square mile island.

Juba Sound

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at Juba Sound for two weeks and had our two sons visit for three or four days in that time. The Villa comfortably accommodated all of us. The photos accurately depict the house and it was very clean. On arrival at the airport, Maria from Caicos Wheels/Turks&Caicos Beach Villas was waiting for us. She was very pleasant and quickly got us set up with the car then took us to the Villa and gave us a tour. Adlian, another employee, similarly took care of us on our return to the airport. You are only a short distance from Grace Bay and beautiful beaches but the car is necessary. During our stay we called Ramon a couple of times and he quickly returned our calls. He was attentive and we felt confident in dealing with him. I should mention that the driveway to the villa is steep but we got used to it. Overall we were quite happy with our stay.

Great vacation rental

  • 4 of 5

A well maintained house with nice view of Juba Sound. Quiet neighbourhood and a short drive to Grace Bay beaches and shopping and to other virtually unpopulated beaches. Close to one of the best kite surfing beaches in the world too. Car is essential, enjoyed a bit of bike riding but there are limited cycling destinations nearby. The car was a rental but included with the house, we were met at the airport and drove ourselves back to the airport on departure. Kitchen is fairly well equipped and washer dryer was handy for beach towels and laundry.

Wonderful Villa. Spotless, close to everything yet very quiet and relaxed

  • 5 of 5

This is such a great villa with a lot of amenities. It's modern, immaculate and spacious. There is a porch overlooking the dramatic Juba Sound. It's on top of a hill so pretty quiet and relaxing at night. There are plenty or towels, and sheets and even two chairs to take to the beach. The car was very handy to get to the various beaches, stores and restaurants. We requested the airport pick up and were greeted by the representative and taken to the villa. We had a cell phone at our disposal for local calls.

We just used one bedroom, but there was a slight musty smell in the 2nd bedroom. Perhaps it just needed an airing out, but we kept that door closed.

Appliances are large, modern and also spotless.

The only suggestion i have is to have a few local maps handy, but you can also get them at any resort.

Long overdue review.... GROOVY!!!!!

  • 4 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying at Soundview Villa 3/12-20 2013. Seeing a previous review of Ramon and his team being "unethical" is just untrue, and frankly ridiculous in our experience at TCI.

From the initial emails back & forth, to the quick pick-up at the airport, the showing of the unit with complimentary gallon of drinking water, to the inclusion of a car, bikes and a complimentary cell phone for local calls and Ramon's personal phone number in case anything came up 24/7 ... these guys ran a professional, tight ship for our first experience in TCI.

We had one minor issue regarding the water tank needing to be re-filled during our stay. A quick call to Ramon and he was on it within minutes. The outcome was we had to deal without running water for a small period of time (15 hours or so which was an overnight period of time). They had the tank re-filled and everything was fixed up smoothly by Ramon. He apologized a few times and then told us he was taking $50 off our bill for the inconvenience and bought us 3 gallons of drinking water as well for our trouble. Ramon is plain and simply TOP NOTCH...

The villa itself is very upscale in the decor, furniture, kitchen appliances, etc. We have visited places like Punta Cana, Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Anguilla, and this villa is at the top of the list with how nice it was for the price. Yes, the drive way up to the villa is rocky, but if you have been to places of paradise like TCI and Anguilla like we have, it is understood this is how many driveways and even main roads can be.

We cant thank Ramon and his team enough for checking in 2-3x thru out the week to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. Excellent service. Hopefully we can return and stay at his Chalk Sound Villa next time.

Apologies to Ramon that it has taken us this long to write this review, but we truly enjoyed our first time in TCI. Your place was far enough away from the 'busy' Grace Bay area, which is what we wanted but also close enough to anything & everything. THANK YOU!!!!!

Nice Place, unethical management...many other choices on the island

  • 2 of 5

My brother and I rented Soundview for a week and, while we liked the house and location, we found the management to be unethical and would never rent from them again. We were pleased to see that a car was included in the price and it seems this is because the rental management company also runs Caicos Cars. We had a nice email exchange with Ramon and he confirmed our "all in" price for the week. We confirmed we would be met at the airport. There was no mention of any $25 fee for this "service." When I got home, I noticed another charge for $22.24 on my VISA. I contacted Ramon and was was for damaged towel. Ramon told me that he would send me a photo of the damaged photo, just the charge on my debit card.

The view of the sound is nice and if you have A/C (very good)on you hardly hear the barking dogs that roam the area. The dishwasher ran once we figured out we had to slam the door. One room is big and bright and the other is quite small. Nice balcony, grill. Didn't use the bikes but Lance Armstrong couldn't pedal one up the driveway.

The driveway is very steep and all rocks and ruts.

2 nice big TVs and the Internet worked fine but was very slow. We are kite surfers so the location was close to the best kiting beach. Probably only a 5 minute drive.

Don't be suckered by the free car as we were. There are better options on the island for sure. Life is too short to deal with unethical people.

Owner's Response: Dear Joe – You were very much aware of the airport charges – due to it being stated on your credit card form which you signed before coming to the villa. I made it very clear to you that a taxi would have cost you $20 USD per person each way to the airport – and our service would be just $25 USD round trip. When you arrived on island you asked about our airport service yet again – it was made very clear to you and your brother that if your unhappy with the $25 USD round trip airport fee – please leave the car it the villa upon your departure and you will not be charged the $25 USD and I will call you a taxi (even after picking you up from the airport) – you opted to take the car back to airport. Once you got home you tried to block payments for the service that you used and signed off on. The credit card company contacted me and asked for required documents that prove you had full knowledge of the service. Once we presented proof of knowledge to the credit card company the payments was released – and you were not too happy about this. In regards to the towels – I called and advised you on two of the towels being damaged by shoe polished and your charged will be $22.24 USD. Best, Ramon Andrews

Awesome holiday

  • 5 of 5

Ramon and Jana were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Having the car available was fantastic and enabled us to visit lots of interesting sights around the island. The house is in a good location away from the hype of Grace Bay but not too to far to walk or bike to beaches, shops and restaurants. We were a family with young kids and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks very much for a lovely stay.
