Why Sharlene Richey chose Winston-Salem
Our home was built in the 1950's and has been completely remodeled. It is a large home and works so well for large groups. The kitchen and bar area are perfect for cooking and allowing you to be involved with all guests. There is an abundance of seating and dining options. Our favorite place is the hanging bed porch. We love relaxing after a long day and interacting with neighbors passing by.

Got married in Winston, and the house was a perfect location for my parents and family to stay. They had such a fantastic time as it beat them all having separate hotel rooms. Can’t say enough about the home and the owners hospitality!
Awesome guests! Left our home very clean! Congrats and hoping you all have many years of wedded bliss!
We made amazing memories on our trip! Loved every minute of the stay in the house and area. The kitty was an added bonus!
Loved meeting these guests. Glad you enjoyed our cat and our home. Thanks for the BBQ and the fixins!
Beautiful quiet home
Sharlene's home is wonderful. Well taken care of, spacious and lovely. Easy drive to everything around Winston Salem. Very homey. In particular, Sharlene was a delight in terms of contacting before and after the rental and added a lot of nice touches and things for us as guests. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay in her wonderful home.
Fit the needs of our group well
Owner very responsive to questions.
Tons of Space and Easy Accommodations
We had 6 women and an almost 2-year old and could not have been happier with this property. It had tons of space, and an amazing back porch. The kitchen was large enough for us to group cook, and the bedrooms were all spacious as well! Sharlene and her husband were perfect hosts. Quick to respond and made initial contact to ensure VRBO had gotten us everything we needed! Would definitely stay again!
Very nice clean, decorated beautiful
Sharlene and Evan we're great host. If we needed anything they were there. They had extras that were very nice and appreciated. The porch was great. The whole family was happy, being together. Wonderful neighborhood to take a walk in. We we're close to LJVM Coliseum, grocery stores, shopping. The house had squeaky floors, but that is character of house. The kitchen had all amenities you would need for cooking, entertaining, and just relaxing. We had a great time. Would book this house again. The two bathrooms you have to work around, but it wasn't to bad.
We can well imagine, with 10 or more people fighting over 2 bathrooms could pose a bit of a challenge. We love the wood floors and barely notice the creaks. Of course, those are some of characteristics that come with a owning a 1950’s home. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
