New construction with old world details, this spacious, sun-drenched, 3-story home on the Cape Neddick River is just a short walk (or kayak paddle, using one of the two house kayaks) to Cape Neddick Beach and the open ocean.
Nestled on a bend in the river that sits across from undisturbed conservation land, guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of the house while reading and sunbathing on the deck, relaxing in the six-person hot tub, playing the baby grand piano or enjoying a game of pool in the English club room or watching movies in front of one of the house's three fireplaces (two gas, one wood-burning.)
Three en-suite bedrooms with queen-size beds are perfect for couples. The upstairs bedroom has a gas fireplace, in-room coffee bar and designated seating area, perfect for watching movies on the large television. The downstairs master guest room has a jacuzzi bathtub, shower and access to the deck. The third bedroom has a pocket door to create a private, en-suite enclave that's guaranteed to deliver a great night's sleep.
There is also a twin bedroom that can be added to the rental to accommodate up to two additional children (for a total of 8 people in the house), pending approval by the owner.
Grill out on the deck using the Weber gas grill, then choose whether to eat outside on the deck, inside the screened porch, or at one of the dining tables inside the house.
Additional kayaks can be rented from a vendor less than a mile up the road. Bicycles are also available to rent from several nearby vendors. This area is great for bike rides along the coast, either north on Shore Road or south into York Beach and the Nubble Light House.
In-home washer/dryer and new kitchen appliances.
Small, housebroken dogs are welcome.
