Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Nice floor plan but overall, needed a good cleaning and a lot of maintenance. The laundry facility was great - the kitchen was well stocked and open to the dining/living area, but didn't have frying pan that didn't stick. The mats in both bathrooms needed washing before they could be used. A few light bulbs were burnt out and we couldn't find replacements. There was a good sized hole in the sliding screen door in the master bedroom and the lower deck appeared to be nearly off the footings. We love Sunriver but just feel this home needs a lot of attention before we could recommend it.
We had to buy portable fans to help cool the house and we ended up throwing some of our food out that went bad due to poor refrigeration. To keep the food cold we alternately froze some items then placed them back in the fridge to help keep the other items cold.
Overall was a good time and nice facility. But seriously you need to either have more fans or install Air Conditioners. . They have this new Ductless system that works great or since you already have a duct system in place just need the A/C.
we are easy going folks so of course we had a great time, but somethings that would have really made me give this place two thumbs up and make it want to rent it again, is... fixing the large burner on the stove, more water and less chemicals in the hot tub, better lighting on the stairs to the front door and an easier to use door knob, also a new shower curtain in the down stairs bath, and the advertised tee-pee for our kids to play in was no where to be found.
We loved this house; it was a nice size for 5-6 people, well laid out, but lots of stairs. The fishing theme in the living room was fun.
The dishes were plentiful and lovely. The hot tub worked nicely. The beds were comfy. No partying neighbors, so it was quiet. The steep driveway made it a bit tricky to get in and out of the car, but it wasn't icy when we were there.
We would stay here again!
