This updated condo in the St. Francis Lakeside community has three bedrooms, three full baths, and a fantastic location in Tahoe City! Enjoy seasonal tennis, a year-round shared hot tub, and a private beach on Lake Tahoe.
The full kitchen has granite countertops and a gas range for your home chef, and the living area has a cable TV so you won't miss the big game. There's wireless Internet for those who need to stay connected to the office, and a washer/dryer to keep packing light. Enjoy peekaboo views of the lake from the back deck!
Not only will this condo be your gateway to all the seasonal activities around Lake Tahoe, you can stay right in the beautifully landscaped complex and lounge in the hot tub (please note the indoor hot tub is adults only), take a walk on the beach, play a game of tennis or volley ball, or just walk out on the pier and enjoy the lake.
If you brought the boat, there's a boat launch just a block away. Got the bike? There are trails all around Tahoe City. (The trail from Dollar Point to Tahoe City - about a 2.5 mile ride - is right outside the door.) Go rafting on the Truckee River, rent a kayak, or book a sunset cruise and watch the sun set on the lake. And there are festivals too! The SnowFest Winter Carnival is in March and the Harvest Festival is in October and has an Oktoberfest theme.
Kings Beach is just 9 miles down the road, Crystal Bay's historic casinos and nighlife are just 10 miles away, Alpine Meadows is 5 miles away, and Squaw Valley is 6 miles away.
With so much to do and see, you may be torn between adventure and relaxing in your plush condo!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This condo has funky 80's décor that is perhaps a bit dated but it has what you need to be comfortable for sure. We rented here to be near some friends that live in the area and it was just fine.
Loved staying at Kokopelli. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake.
This place was not clean and very dated. The location was nice but that was pretty much it. After complaining about how not clean it was they told me they would reverse the cleaning charge. They ended up charging me again for cleaning and only reversing the over charge. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone.
Overall the place was pleasant and clean. The quality was appropriate for the price. This unit was the furthest of any from the lakeshore and closest to the highway. Units closer to the water had nicer landscape, nicer views, generally nicer environment. There were a few things I didn't like. There was no door on the master bathroom. That meant you are visible on the toilet. Also, the bathroom can't be warmed separate from the bedroom. If the bedroom is cool, you'll be cold getting out of the shower. A few things didn't work: the blinds in the mater bedroom couldn't be raised and the vertical venetian style blinds in the living room couldn't be rotated open. Considering the price it all seemed OK. We enjoyed our stay.
