For an amazing Tahoe golf or ski getaway, you can't beat this beautiful five bedroom Truckee vacation home right on the Tahoe Donner Golf Course! And with an outdoor hot tub, entertainment center, multiple decks, gourmet kitchen, and access to all the great amenities at Tahoe Donner, your family retreat or friends' getaway will be one to remember!
The large and open living room and dining room area is reminiscent of a lodge with tall ceilings, exposed wood beams, and rock facade mantle. After a chilly day out on the slopes, come back, start a fire, and pass around a tray of hot cocoa. A large flat screen cable TV is on hand for DVDs, so you may just want to spend a cozy night indoors watching movies. Or, on clear nights, use the telescope to do a little stargazing from the deck.
The full kitchen has beautiful wood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. This space is perfect for gourmet meals or just heating up leftovers. In the mornings, you can start the slow cooker and at the end of the day come back to a wonderful smelling house and a hearty meal. The log-inspired dining table will seat up to eight for home-cooked dinners, with extra space available at the kitchen counter's bar if needed.
Out on the deck, there's a gas grill for outdoor-inspired meals and on the lower level deck, an eight-person hot tub for after-dinner soaks. Protected by the upper deck, the hot tub is truly year-round. Just sit back and watch the snow fall down around you.
All five bedrooms here have king-sized beds. Two bedrooms are on the main floor, including the master suite, with its tall slanted ceilings, deck access, flat screen TV, and en suite bath with large soaking tub.
Downstairs, the remaining three bedrooms are all comfortable and cozy with soft bedding, bedside tables, and reading lamps. On this lower level, you'll also find the an game room with a pool table, gas fireplace, and wet bar. And up in the loft, there's a shuffleboard table, another TV, shelves full of games and books, and a queen sized sofa bed for more sleeping options. This home will easily accommodate up to 12 guests.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Property was what we expected, plenty of room for 4 families with kids, 12 people total. Wi fi was slow & some of us could not get connected, only 3 wash cloths for 12 people.Everything worked the way we expected.
We would recommend the property.
Very nice place. The accommodations were perfect. Nice neighborhood, quite and friendly. We felt that this location was perfect.
Everything is good, except the mattresses are too old. Too soft to support a good sleep
This home is a good size, with plenty of space for 8 adults. Kitchen was stocked with all of the dishes, pans, utensils that we needed, and it was nice to have the grill on the deck right off of the kitchen. Beds were comfortable, adequate towels provided. Bathrooms were clean. The electronic recliners in the sofas were a big hit! There is pretty good sound insulation between the upstairs and downstairs, which is helpful when you have both early risers and night owls in the same property. That said, the home is starting to look tired -- comforters and carpets could especially use an upgrade. As another reviewer said, I suspect this has been mostly a rental for quite some time. Toiletries are provided as in the listing, but in very small quantities for the number of people (and not of great quality). If you have long hair, you will most definitely need to bring your own. Wifi is provided, but is very slow. If you need to be able to upload/download anything, your best bet is the local Starbucks.
Communication from the management company was poor. Initial confirmation indicates that an email containing check-in information will be sent 7 days prior to your stay -- ours did not come until 4 days prior. Similarly an email was supposed to arrive at noon the day of check-in letting you know if early check in is available. This never came. We were then asked to wait in the driveway for a half hour past the regular check-in time because the cleaning folks had not completed. Unfortunately, we then had to fold the laundry still in the dryer, and clean some surfaces that had not been wiped down (coffee and kitchen table).
As above, this place is just ok. No enormous problems, but not as spectacular of an experience as I was hoping for when I booked it.
Nice house, lots of space and a well equipped kitchen. However, the house is getting tired, seems like it has been primarily a rental for too long.
