We grew up on California's central coast, and now make Santa Barbara our home. It is a wonderful place to live and we feel like we're vacationing in our own home town. This home is central to the Santa Ynez wine country, and just 90 minutes from Los Angeles.
Super easy access and very private and homey feeling. Great location just off the water and main shopping streets, so still quiet and neighborhood feel but close access to everything you want to do in town. Thanks again!
Had a WONDERFUL experience here, as did everyone in the Bachlorette party! We enjoyed ourselves very much and do not have any complaints. I would definitely stay here again. Ian was such a great help, always willing to answer any questions that I had. Overall a great time!

Ian was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house is in a great location just a few blocks from Stearn's Wharf. We were visiting California for a wedding at the Four Season's Biltmore and this was a fantastic location. I can't say enough about how helpful Ian was. He responded quickly to any email sent and provided exact details for location and access to the home. It's well furnished and comfortable.
We stayed here for two weeks in May with a family of six (four children four and under).
The location is superb, a short walk to the beach, Chase Palm park (playground and carousel), the pier, the harbour, and downtown. We could also easily bike to other beaches, further downtown locations, and the zoo from there.
The unit worked perfectly for us. The large dining table was great for the six of us to eat and do crafts. The kitchen was a good size and very functional, and the beds were comfy. The bonus is the Spanish decor of the home, which made us feel even more on vacation. We had access to a storage unit where we put our two bikes and two kid trailers, this proved super convenient.
Ian was an awesome host, responding to emails and texts very quickly. He was very friendly and made our stay all the more enjoyable.
We would totally be back.

Well kept, comfy, and well appointed within easy walk of West Beach, Sterns Wharf, the harbor as well as State Street ...
Kitchen has everything if you need it, but if you are not partaking of the local establishments, you are really missing out ...
Very historic area behind the old Potter Hotel from the 1920s (long gone) ... the house itself is a historic property from that 1920s era ...
Doesn't have A/C, but you don't need it with the local climate and the great cross breezes with the windows ...
You will be very happy if you are lucky enough to rent this property ...
