It also has many amenities to make your stay comfortable including washer/dryer, well equipped full kitchen, down comforters, and quality linens. This cabin can have snow Dec-March, and is close to an area popular for winter sports. The roads are usually cleared to the cabin but AWD, 4WD or chains are needed at times.

Foss River Lodge is available year-round for your romantic, recreation, or relaxation getaway. It is a popular summer retreat. This cabin books early, especially during ski season and summer, due to the large number of repeat guests.

PLEASE NOTE TWO RENTAL OPTIONS: COTTAGE or LODGE.

COTTAGE is the cozy, original cabin with mud porch entry, living room with wood burning fireplace, dining nook overlooking the river, full kitchen, one full bath, two bedrooms upstairs-one with a queen bed and the second with a queen and a twin bed. Sleeps 4-5.

LODGE includes all the above, plus an annex with an additional living room, kitchen, 1-1/2 baths, queen bedroom and king bedroom. Sleeps 10.

Both the COTTAGE and the LODGE include a deck with hot tub overlooking the river.

We never rent the COTTAGE and the LODGE independently, so whichever you decide to rent, you will be the only guests on the property.

Guestbook comments from the manager

This was our romantic Christmas getaway this year and it was a lovely time. We wandered through the mountain towns and learned a lot of history pertaining to the U.S. Highway 2 and the railroad. We ate German food in Leavenworth and watched trains go by in Skykomish. Today we'll take off through Wenatchee and head home via Snoqualmie Pass. We're sad to be leaving but sure to be back some day soon.

Lovely Cabin on the River

  • 5 of 5

My family enjoyed this cabin so much. It felt like a step back in time, but in the loveliest most refreshing way possible. Every need has been anticipated, every comfort has been provided. The river is stunning, but even better is the constant soothing sound of it flowing! Even toys for little ones can be found, which my boys loved! The collection of books is beyond impressive. It’s like having a library at your fingertips. I was curious about a particular tree and wanted to identify it — I found a book for that. State history, nature, birds, hikes, fiction etc - it’s all there! Thanks for sharing this gem with us!

Charming Cabin on the river near lots of hiking

  • 5 of 5

Cabin met all of our needs. It was quiet, besides the noise of the river and an occasional train, and came stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. We would go back again and stay longer next time! Locals were super friendly to us.

Slice of Heaven on the Foss River

  • 5 of 5

From the minute we drove in, to the sad departure, it was perfect. The sound of the rushing Foss River greeted us and kept us relaxed the whole time. The cabin is quaint and perfectly placed next to the river. We had everything we needed to cook/grill dinners after full days of hiking nearby breathtaking trails. From dinner and playing cards by candlelight (candles and cards provided) on the deck next to the river, to relaxing in the huge hot tub, Lisa thought of everything. Plenty of coffee, hot cocoa, s'more makings, snacks, grilling necessities, and even bottled water in each of the bedrooms. I have travelled extensively and have yet to see another VRBO property that paid such attention to detail. We were two couples that had plenty of privacy and space. We now want to bring our own families back. Thank you, Lisa, for sharing your incredible property with us; we'll be back.

Beautiful property right on the river

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights in this comfortable cabin on the river. The property is well maintained and was stocked with ample snacks, toiletries, games, and other extras for a very nice weekend. We were impressed that the host had the thoughtfulness to provide items like robes, charcoal, coffee, smores kit, etc. The hot tub was very relaxing. The only thing we missed was WIFI.

Great getaway

  • 5 of 5

Very cute cabin in an amazing location. Listen and watch the river from the dining room, enjoy the forest setting and take it all in by the fireplace on in the hot tub. Great hiking around and very close to the slopes. We were very pleased.
