You know you've left the city behind when you stay in this cozy mountain cabin next to a mountain stream. Foss River Lodge is surrounded by lush forest and the soothing sound of the river is everywhere. This is a very private cabin off the beaten path, yet close to Stevens Pass, Skykomish and Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area hiking trails.
This is a great apres ski cabin 20 minutes from Stevens Pass with a real wood burning fireplace, private 7-person hot tub, and northwoods cabin decor. It also has many amenities to make your stay comfortable including washer/dryer, well equipped full kitchen, down comforters, and quality linens. This cabin can have snow Dec-March, and is close to an area popular for winter sports. The roads are usually cleared to the cabin but AWD, 4WD or chains are needed at times.
Foss River Lodge is available year-round for your romantic, recreation, or relaxation getaway. It is a popular summer retreat. This cabin books early, especially during ski season and summer, due to the large number of repeat guests.

This was our romantic Christmas getaway this year and it was a lovely time. We wandered through the mountain towns and learned a lot of history pertaining to the U.S. Highway 2 and the railroad. We ate German food in Leavenworth and watched trains go by in Skykomish. Today we'll take off through Wenatchee and head home via Snoqualmie Pass. We're sad to be leaving but sure to be back some day soon.
I rented this place with my family and friends. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. The annex was spacious. The management was responsive and generous. The locations was ideal for Stevens Pass access. I will rent it again and I recommend it to everyone!
We had a wonderful weekend at the comfortable cabin. Loved the sound of the river. Enjoyed the hot tub. Plan to try to stay this summer. Great distance to Stevens pass and to Seattle.
Was fantastic, they went above and beyond to have everything you could possibly want for a relaxing getaway. Only nit-picks would be the access road was a little sketchy with the amount of snow (though this did get cleared the second day we were there) and maybe the lack of internet, but honestly it was better without it to enjoy the company and cozy getaway.
Wow!! , what a wonderful getaway. Cabin was clean and beds were super comfortable. The outdoor jacuzzi was fantastic. The wood burning fire place was like no other. Just about an hour ride to Leavenworth where Christmas decorating probably began.
Spent a relaxing getaway at the cottage lounging in the hot tub as fluffy snowflakes gently floated down around us. A perfect location to unplug and unwind with both a gas and wood fireplace. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking any meal and all appliances were clean and working. The cottage was spotless and exceptionally well maintained. Plenty of additional extras were provided by a thoughtful, professional site manager. Caretakers were there right away in the morning to plow the snow in case we needed to leave, which we didn't because we were in heaven. The only thing I needed was slippers for walking to the hot tub to avoid cold feet. We will absolutely be coming back again.
I don't know where to start. The cabin is so comfy and accommodating. The managers put a lot of thought towards the guest having an amazing experience. Everything worked great and was very tidy and clean. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our stay and will definitely be coming back.
