Great Place...Right on the beach!
We enjoyed our stay at unit 207 at the Sunset Chateau. The unit was well equipped and very clean. The balconies ran the full length of the condo on each floor so they were not private, but we got used to that.
Could talk with neighbors. We saw dolphins jumping out of the water at 3 different times during our week. Caddy's beach restaurant was a hit with us...could walk up the beach to get to Caddys. Great food and a wonderful view of the gulf and dolphins too. Would recommend this condo complex to anyone.
Great location. Condo was well equipped with everything you need for the beach or hanging out in the
Wonderful. Will book again for our annual visit.
Our Condo was Fantastic - Perfect Getway
From the time we walked through the door we felt like we we arrived to our home, away from home. It had everything we needed and so much more (duh the beach and ocean, I can't find that in Arkansas). It was in a great location, far enough from all the tourist, but close enough to get where you wanted to go. Free Beach Ride was a great way to get around town. Caddys on the Beach was a quick walk down the beach. Great evening sunsets, no wonder it's called Sunset Beach!!! We had to leave early due to hurricane Irma but so enjoyed our time while we were there and are looking forward to coming back. Thank your courtney for everything.
Loved our trip
We loved our visit at the Sunset Chateu. It had a beautiful view. Courtney was wonderful to rent from! She was very helpful and available when we needed her. We will definitely be coming back!
Condo was exactly as expected. Equipped with everything we needed and right on the beach!
We're in the Clearwater/ Tampa area regularly for work and are somewhat familiar with the area. Sunset beach is quiet but close to everything we want. The complex is older but someone is there every morning cleaning up the outdoor area and maintaining the pool. There is a mix of permanent residents, seasonal renters and vacationers so quiet, friendly beach lovers will be your neighbors. Courtney's condo has a very well equipped kitchen, excellent firm mattress and basic beach gear so you don't have to purchase anything for a week's stay, just bring your clothes and food. I can't tell you how happy we were to find the condo exactly as advertised and very clean. Renting sight unseen can be scary. I prefer to have a private balcony or patio but since the beach is right there I only missed it as a place to de-sand (I don't think that's a word but you know what I mean) myself and beach gear before going inside. The price was more than reasonable for our 9 day stay and Courtney was very accommodating about our night time arrival and extremely early departure. Having said all these good things about the place without mentioning the best thing - the beach. It's right outside your door. We've stayed at the Treasure Island Marriott which sits on the beach side of Gulf Blvd but the hike from building to water is a trek. Not at Sunset Chateau-you step off the small boardwalk with outdoor shower and you park your beach chair. You are there, no blistering long trek through the sand to feel the beautiful waters of the gulf. Note to pool people. There is no shade at the pool after noon time, you must haul your own chairs to the pool and due to nearness of the beach sand on the pool floor is constantly an issue. I thought this would bother me but again close proximity to the beach made it a non issue since I only got in the pool once just to check it out. I would highly recommend this place and if the opportunity presents itself will definitely stay again. On a side note the much noted Caddy's just up the beach is a great place to listen to some live music and grab a cocktail. Sure they're a bit pricey but that's the norm at a beach bar. From planning, to booking, to arrival through departure Courtney was great and the condo was spot on.
The condo was everything and more! Clean, comfortable furniture, kitchen nicely stocked, they even provide beach chairs, toys and umbrellas. Courtney has been great to work with! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us.
