This 2 bedroom apartment is located in a 4-plex and was recently remodeled with a new kitchen and bathroom. The living room has great natural light and looks out to the front of the building. In the living room you will find comfortable club chairs and a couch for viewing TV or working on a puzzle on the dining table. The first bedroom has a queen sized Tempurpedic bed, the second bedroom is equipped with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has a stall shower. The rental has a full kitchen including a full size range, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The building has a coin-op washer/dryer for laundry needs. The overall size of the apartment is 1100 square feet making it larger then some homes for rent on VRBO. Included in the unit are WiFi and cable television.
I have owned this building for 14 years and remodeled all the units, my 3 other tenants are all long term and have been living at the property for years.
Eureka is a city of almost 30,000 located on the north pacific coast of California. We have an active arts community with a monthly Arts Alive Night on the first Saturday of each month in Old Town, there are also many local art galleries for viewing or purchasing art. Humboldt State University has its own gallery in Old Town on First Street with student and faculty exhibits and out of the area artist shows. There is a wide variety of restaurants to be found in Eureka and we would be happy to give you some ideas of how to choose your meals out. In Henderson Center there is a great local bakery for morning pastries and coffee drinks. Humboldt County has a bounty of outdoor activities to be enjoyed at our local beaches and forest areas.
Eureka is a 4 hour and 45 minute drive north of San Francisco and 120 miles west of Redding. Whether you want to escape the urban population of the Bay Area or the heat of Redding, Eureka is a great choice.
Over the last 6 years we have converted 6 of our long term rentals in Eureka to vacation rentals. We have lived in Eureka all our lives and enjoy sharing our community with others. We manage our own vacation rental so you can be assured that you will be interacting with the owner of the property instead of a third party property manager. Thank you for looking at our property for you possible stay in Eureka. Have a safe trip.
Joe Vellutini purchased this apartment in 1999
We had our teenage granddaughter with us and she really enjoyed having her own space. The home was in the central area we wanted to visit. Again, we had a great stay in a very nice home. Thank You, Joe
Wonderful property. VERY clean! I definitely will recommend this property...
The living/dinning area accommodated 4 of us a place to read, do puzzles, watch TV, and eat our meals. The kitchen gave us all the needs to prepare our own meals; breakfast and dinner. The bedrooms allowed us to rest, and kept the traffic sounds to the front of the house. The bathroom was enough for the 4 of us to get ready each morning; we each took a turn. The washer and dryer was a definite plus; not to mention the trash cans and recycling bins out back. The only negative was the busy street, but we had no trouble getting onto the street to explore the woods and beaches; I would use this property again. The owners answered ALL my questions in a timely manner, so I knew what to pack and buy! Thank you!
Unit was very clean and seemed to be newly renovated. It was also very quiet, which was surprising due to it being on a main street. It was also centrally located to everything in town. Only non-positive thing was that the laundry was coin operated. Aside from that I'd be pleased to stay there again.
Very nice property, close to downtown, clean rooms, quiet (even though its on a main road), modern bath, and looks to be newly renovated....But, laundry is coin operated and the neighbors are parking nazi's. Enough to be a deal breaker.
Joe has done a great job making this apartment cute & comfortable. The location was convenient to walk to lost coast brewery & central for our adventures. Unfortunately some of the surrounding areas did not feel super safe; but we were comfortable and felt safe while in the apartment. Overall we had a lovely stay.
