It's great to be able to sightsee in Memphis all day then get back and relax by the lake - nice & quiet.
Lifelong Memphian. Grew up spending time fishing and skiing at Horseshoe lake.
It's very convenient to Memphis, especially downtown. Only 40 minutes from our house.
Janet Hill purchased this cabin in 1991
Originally purchased in 1991, it has provided many hours of enjoyment for our family and friends. We decided to rebuild about 6 years ago and knew exactly what we needed in a lake house. From the great room to the screened porch to the large open kitchen, it is very functional. Nice and clean, never musty. It is also the best spot on the lake to watch the sunset!
The unique thing that sets our cabin apart is simply that it has been recently rebuilt from the ground up. Everything is new and no carpet to smell, all stained concrete floors.
House has been tastefully remodeled and is very comfortable and clean. Deck could use repair but overall great property. Loved it!
No high end luxury but very adequate and appropriate for Horseshoe lake. No restaurants around so bring your own food!
We really enjoyed our stay on Horseshoe Lake! The house and dock were clean and well-maintained. Our crew enjoyed fishing off the dock and watching the sunset over the lake. It was an easy drive to Memphis. We would definitely recommend this house for your next lake get-away.
It was a pleasure to stay here. We used the lake house as a base for a couple of days when we went into Memphis and it was a great place to come back to. It's well equipped and everything was in superb condition and it was VERY CLEAN. Probably the cleanest rental property we've stayed in for a while. We would have loved to have stayed longer and used the kayak on the jetty (which is a fantastic place from which to watch the sunsets)... maybe next time. Having two bathrooms was also really useful. Dealing with the owners was also easy and straightforward. Definitely recommended!
This lake house was perfect for me and my family. It has an unbeatable view and everything you need for your stay. It's close enough to Memphis but not too far, and we would love to come back again.
Very nice place, it was clean and had everything needed. We were there in Dec and were able to fish, so it was a big plus for the guys. Would like to return someday in the summer. Would definitely recommend.
This was a well-appointed, cozy house on a beautiful lake. We used it for a staff retreat and it was the perfect place to do both team work and "get away from it all." The sun sets over the lake every evening and the view is stunning.
