Fort Langley is a booming and ever expanding resort village while still maintaining its rustic charm....so charming in fact that the movie industry is forever shooting various films where it is not uncommon to see celebrities such as Andie McDowell (filming Cedar Cove on a regular basis) and David Hasselhoff (featured in Christmas movies filmed in Bedford Landing), not to mention many others. You will not be disappointed by the various activities ongoing here!
We purchased this condo in Fort Langley to be close to nature and walking trails while we visit our family there. When we are not visiting we would like others to take advantage of this beautiful area and see what this unique and very charming area has to offer.
Owner/Manager purchased this condo in 2012
My family and I stayed her this past weekend. It was everything we could have asked for and more.
Katherine was a gracious host. In fact we were a little obnoxious with our arrival time. We kept pushing the time back on her (ended up being 3 hours late), but she was more than kind to us.
The room is as billed. It is clean and comfortable. My whole family enjoyed it.
The building and neighborhood were quiet and safe. The parking garage under the building also felt very safe.
There were several great restaurants within walking distance. We weren't able to take in Fort Pub (which looked quite inviting) due to that fact that they couldn't take kids. We did make it Beatniks and thorougly enjoyed our dinner.
There is a great walking trail on both sides of the Bedford Canal (which is just a few yards from the building). I hiked both sides, but I think my favorite was the island trail. There's a bridge adjacent to the building that goes to the island. It only takes about 5 minutes of walking to get across.
We have plans to be back to Langley several times a year. We will definitely be looking to stay here again. I've got some family that I expect will be travelling to Langley soon as well. I will certainly be recommending this place.
Had a very good stay in this apartment with all our needs catered for. Found the owner to be very friendly and most helpful. All in all, it was a great base from which to explore the area.
Beautiful Canada, delightful Fort Langley oh how we have loved our stay! As visitors from NZ travellng through N.America and Europe on a long sabbatical, we were thrilled and fortunate enough to find this intimate apartment with a balcony that afforded us a view of the mighty Fraser 50 metres from our front door. The owners made us feel very welcome, were very helpful and the apartment was a delight to view. Not only was it very clean and sumptuously decorated, it was practical, homely, secure and and satisfyingly close to the celebrated Fraser River and the significant walking trails that take in magnificent views of Mt. Baker and Golden Ears. We always found the trails so peaceful and relaxing and found the fact that we could walk out of the front door and go left to the trails and along the river, or to the right a couple hundred meters to the charming town just too sublime. We particularly enjoyed the little Art Galleries one of which was just across the road from the apartment, and the wonderful coffee shops and restaurants. The Fort Langley Pub was about 200 metres walk - too bewitching for NZ's who love nothing better than chilling over a glass or two ! Needless to say we made many happy friends there, and met all the neighbours too ! Vancouver International Airport was an easy hour's drive away for us on the Trans Canada Highway which Fort Langley is close to, and going to the city was a doddle using the Sky Train from Surrey which was only 30 minutes away. Parking was underground and very secure. The owners provide internet and self-contained facilities with all the modern conveniences with a very comfy Queen bed. We couldn't have been more thrilled with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone looking to experience this very majestic part of the world. Thank you.
The owners have done an excellent job of creating a warm and comfortable suite that feels like "home away from home". The suite was clean with newer furnishings and appliances, and a very comfortable bed. The heated underground parking was convenient & secure. The suite is located close to the riverside trails and amenities in Fort Langley. The owner was very helpful in accommodating my schedule, and lives close by, so was available to provide assistance promptly. The only problem was that my cell phone coverage was sketchy inside the suite. Otherwise - everything was great. I would certainly book this suite again and recommend it to others. Thanks for everything!
