This Newbury Street brownstone was gut-rehabbed in 2013, offering both modern luxuries and unparalleled access to Boston’s high end retail, night life and tourist attractions in the classic Back Bay setting. A great hotel alternative for couples or small families.

This 3rd floor one bedroom suite features a full sized, open kitchen and living room. The brand new unit has polished hardwood floors throughout the unit, central air, granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances. The bedroom features a queen mattress set, nightstand, reading lamp and alarm clock. The bathroom has a beautiful tile surround tub and shower combo. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils, along with oven, range and refrigerator and there is a breakfast bar that seats two. The living room has a flat screen TV with local channels, a desk and chair, and the sectional sofa pulls out to a full bed which makes this the perfect unit for two or four people.

All units are equipped with wireless internet, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, tea kettles, toasters, microwaves, linens and towels, as well as a guest book with instructions and recommendations. There is also in-unit laundry free for guests use.

All building and unit doors are on secure, code-activated locks so coordinating key pick-up and drop-off is not necessary. There are several parking garages near the property available for both short and long term stays.

This location is very central and it’s easy to get around all of Boston by foot or on public transit. The nearest subway stop is 1 block away – the Hynes stop on the Green Line. Logan Airport is <20 minute taxi ride; Copley Square is a <10 minute walk; the Boston Common and Public Garden are <15 minute walk; Fenway Park is <20 minute walk; MGH and Longwood Medical are also very easy to get to from this location – each taking <10 minutes to get to via taxi or <20 minutes via subway; the Hynes Convention Center is <2 minute walk and the Boston Convention Center (Seaport) is a short, <10 minute taxi ride; Berklee College is a <5 minute walk, Boston University is <5 minute subway or taxi ride and Northeastern University, Harvard University and MIT are all within a short taxi or bus ride from this location.

The perfect location! The apartment was clean with all the necessities.

The only complaint would be the pillows left a little to be desired. I bought a few at TJMaxx down the street.

I would rent it again :)

Great location and generally good facilities

This apartment - up two flights of steep stairs (which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for others) - was in a great location close to shops and restaurants. The bed was comfy and the facilities were generally good but there were some maintenance issues, including a missing remote battery, broken and dirty iron, unclean oven and oven trays, lack of plates and knives (3 of each only for a 4 person apartment!). Some attention to detail would make this a great apartment. Unfortunately arriving on a Friday afternoon, only emergency support was available over the weekend so none of the maintenance issues were addressed. Also, our booking wasn't confirmed in HomeAway so we had no payment or communication history via the HomeAway App.

great location for all things Boston

Unit was located in a great place, walking distance to Fenway, short Uber rides everywhere else. Perfect for our needs, very pleased and if we ever come back to Boston I will look this property up again.

A nice, minimalist apartment in an unbelievable location.

It is true that this is not a massive apartment, but who wants to stay in their room for their whole vacation, anyway? Exit the apartment, and you'll find yourself right in the thick of it. Newbury Street shopping is at your fingertips, and the rest of historic Boston is just a short walk away. When it's time to return for the evening, you'll really enjoy this little urban gem complete with a complete kitchen, a spacious bedroom, a new washer/dryer, and a comfortable bathroom. This compact beauty houses as many high-quality features as a Swiss Army Knife, plus if you forget any necessities, there's a grocery and a pharmacy just around the corner. Easy subway access, as well.

Easy, convenient, great location

The one-bedroom apartment is very nice for a weekend stay. It was very clean. Bed very comfy. The couch in the living room pulls out into a large bed that is spacious for two adults. Sheets are provided, however there was just one small blanket for the living room where there should be two so the living room guests were not as warm. Nice big fridge and ice was ready in the freezer when we arrived and air conditioner cooled the apartment off quickly.. We didn't do any cooking, but there were plenty of utensils and pots and pans had we decided to cook. The location is ideal. Many restaurants close by, and lots of shops. It is close to Mass Avenue and the Berklee College of Music, also Fenway. We reserved a parking spot in Patriot Parking on Havilard Street. Cost was $75 from Friday to Sunday, but would have been $51 if the Red Sox were not playing. Parking- 25 cents for 12 minutes - in front of apartment is only allowed until 8 p.m. unless you have a resident sticker., A 15 minute walk in the opposite direction gets you to Boston Common and the State House. Glad we chose to stay here. Would recommend it. Clothes washer/dryer is in apartment, as well as ironing board, iron, hair dryer.Only repair needed is screen in one of the living room windows that is badly ripped.
