Why Robin Crow chose Mountain Village
For years I knew I wanted to live in Colorado, but it wasn't until my first visit to Telluride that I knew exactly where I wanted to be. Seven years and hundreds of open houses later, I finally found the home that revealed the best of what Telluride has to offer-elegance and comfort, an exceptional mountain view, and close-to-nature feel. As the father of a large family, connection and closeness are very important – both provided by the nice, open layout of the living/dining/ kitchen and balcony. My home offers a beautiful view, the open feeling of the layout, high quality appliances, lovely neighborhood, wildlife outside, trails within feet, a short, flat driveway, and is close enough to town, but secluded enough for privacy. This beautiful home has it all, and you'll appreciate it from moment you enter. Feeling at home away from home is very important to us, and Mt Wilson Way has the perfect balance of luxury and comfort, elegance and kid-friendly fun. We value every moment we get to spend in it, and hope you will, too.

House was great! The peace and quiet were was awesome and sunset views were amazing. We were a family of 5 and house was extremely comfortable, no complaints at all.
Perfect for a family. We had a wonderful time at this home.
Love this home and the views from it. Simply spectacular! Great open floor plan for hanging out. Awesome deck with a first rate hot tub. There is even a steam shower to enjoy. Everyone liked the "day bed" in the family room. Great for reading or taking an afternoon nap. Master suite is great. Cannot beat the view you get to wake up to every morning...Wilson Peak! Very nice shower as well. We appreciated the abundance of nice towels too. We also thought it was nice that there was plenty of paper towel, toilet paper, coffee filters etc. Sounds silly...but we didn't have to worry about running out to grab these items. This house is a 10...with the exception it needs a little TLC. We ran into a couple of items at the start, but they were quick to try to make it right. We appreciated their responsiveness and would definitely return.
Couple of notes...this house is a short drive to Telluride (10 minutes). We enjoyed being up in the mountains away from the town...but you are not just walking into Telluride (unless you are looking for a workout :). You will need to either drive into town or over to Mountain Village to take the gondola.
Other notables - (1) Fly Fishing with San Miguel Angler Fly Fishing. Ask for John...he was great. Wonderful family experience! (2) San Juan Sky Outfitters horseback riding in Durango. A bit of a drive, but a beautiful drive. Cowboy Dean was great and the views while riding are outstanding. Beautiful horses too!
Telluride and this home are winners!
Beautiful spot and wonderful house to enjoy Telluride.
We are getting ready to leave today. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and proximity to Mountain Village. Two families staying together and we commented to each other how nice it was to not be cramped into hotel rooms with our kids. It's very homey. Enjoyed the hot tub, the steam shower, and a day of lazing around the house.
For six days we couldn't stop talking about the view of Mount Vernon and then we figured out that those mountains are the Coors mountains. BEAUTIFUL!
Amazing views and location!
Beautiful home with gorgeous views, a spacious ground floor, and wonderful outdoor deck. My only reservation about giving it 5 stars is the sleeping situation in the two lofts. Because of the uniqueness of this arrangement and that they are accessible via ladder, I would have preferred more detail in the description.
Otherwise, fantastic property.
We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday at this lovely home and had so much fun! The views of Mt. Wilson (the mountain range on Coors Light cans) was impeccable. Such a comfortable home and Kelly and Robin were just wonderful to work with! They are very accommodating and available if needed. The hot tub was great, beds were very comfortable... everything was just amazing! We would highly recommend this property! Thank you Robin and Kelly!
