Look up 'Sweet Suite' and 'Ocean View Suite' on VRBO for more information about our other rentals.
ALSO AVAILABLE: rent out the Cayucos Garden Event Center located on the property for YOUR events!! go to sweetcayucos.com to learn more.
*The first comment people say as they see the suite for the first time is 'the pictures don't give it justice.' We have found it very difficult to capture great pictures, so we recommend you come see it for yourself!
Family Owned and Operated by three generations of the Eisemann Family
My husband and I were recently married in Cayucos and had our reception at the sweet cayucos garden. We also stayed in the garden suite room the same weekend. The room was absolutely perfect size for us two and was so cute and clean! We loved the view from our patio of the ocean and the garden behind. We can't wait to stay again. On top of the rooms being excellent, the Eisemann family were wonderful!
My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at this great cottage in Cayucos. It is one block from the beach and in the center of town. The Eismanns were wonderful hosts and checked in on us during our drive down to time our arrival. It was particularly cold the week we were there, but Hank quickly brought in a space heater for us and they had extra blankets available. The cottage is upstairs (no one above you) and is very, very quiet. They had bikes, a dart board, ping pong and a putting green on site for guests! Were were excited about them all but ran out of time to use them. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it!
This is a studio apartment-not a one bedroom. It is nicely decorated but it was not clean. The fan above the bed was so dirty that we were afraid to turn it on. There was also thick dust under the bed. The floors were dirty. Construction was going on below us during the day, then early on a Saturday morning, there was a construction person on the roof we looked out on so we had no privacy unless we closed all the blinds. Then we were expected to hand wash any dishes or glasses we used and put them back in the cabinet. Very unsanitary!! It is too bad because we liked the location. But for the amount we paid per night, we would not rebook this room.
We loved the upstairs Garden View room and the decor. We stayed 7 nights and it was mostly quiet. The owners were friendly and talkative. The parking in the back, off the main street, was nice and the two outbuildings full of fun things to do was fun to use and play in. This space is good for two adults only and not the kind of space you would plan to eat all meals there.
We wish the owners would have disclosed the fact that they are under construction, downstairs and roofing. We could not use the gardens for coffee or lunch. It was all walled off. They have been working -obviously -for a while on the building.
We would consider renting all three spaces for a family reunion, for a family group who could climb stairs anyway.
Thank you, we enjoyed Cayucos and even saw whales from the beach!
My wife and I enjoyed three days in this unit. It was clean, well appointed, and tucked in the middle of a fantastic hidden garden right in the center of the town. When Hoppe's was closed for business the gardens downstairs are peaceful and quiet. Sunday brunch in the gardens below seemed very nice, we chose to wander up the coast instead of sticking around for the festivities. Returned mid afternoon to find absolute quiet in the gardens. The only thing missing in this unit for us was some outdoor seating..... Next time we will spring for the ocean view unit next door.
An unexpected bonus was having the pleasure to meet and chat with the owners/operators of this unique and historic property. They were very kind and attentive, making certain that everything was working out. They clearly put a great deal of effort keeping up this property and ensuring their guests are enjoying themselves. Hank was eager to share his properties history..... turns out the Way Station property (est 1870's) is very relevant locally. We love local history, so taking the opportunity to learn about where we are staying was a real added value for us.
We scouted the other two units and fully expect to return with friends or family. The two bedroom with amazing outdoor spaces will suit us and one other couple very comfortably!
It's always a real pleasure to experience new places and the people connected to them...We would recommend this setting for couples seeking a unique and very curious setting.
We rented this on short notice as the hotels in the area were booked. Luckily this turned out to be absolutely perfect! It's a studio type setting, very cute and cozy and everything is very clean, well taken care of and updated. It has a wet bar with a fridge and microwave. We were able to take out the bikes that they have in the garage which was a great perk. It has it's own reserved parking space right in the back of Hoppe's Restaurant. There is a bakery right down the stairs from the studio which was convenient for breakfast. The rental is located on top of the restaurant, so you walk through the garden patio and up the stairs. Perfect for a couple, or a couple that have small children as it has a pull out couch. We will come back when we are in town again.
