Unique, contemporary 1400ft2 2BR/2.5BA apartment in center of OTR
About Ted Leavitt
My wife Vicky and I developed the building in Cincinnati where we are renting. We lived 16 years previously in London England, and this property was inspired by one of our places over there. Our children are grown and now living in Cleveland OH, Beijing, and London, so we understand traveling and the importance of making the space you stay in feel inspirational and uplifting as well as meet your needs.
Ted Leavitt purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why Ted Leavitt chose Over-The-Rhine
Architect Terry Boling helped us design and build this 3-unit building to reflect our previous life in London England. It was a 2-year project that started with the purchase of 2 vacant lots in the historic OTR District. We decided that we could better meet our needs with a new build than via renovation. That being said, our place fits within historic framework of OTR (and went through the historic conservation review process).

BOOK HERE! Wonderful Experience!
We rented Unit 1 and Unit 2 for a grad school friend's wedding weekend and the space was all that we hoped for and more! Great for a group of 8 to stay close together! The units both looked brand new and had everything that you needed from coffee/ tea and a full kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large so plenty of space to get ready. The location was walking distance to EVERYTHING! We walked to the Red's stadium for a baseball game, out to local bars and lots of dining options nearby.
Ted was super responsive and extremely kind and flexible with our group. He truly accommodated us in every way possible. We are so thankful for his assistance and for the space. If we are ever in the area again we would go out of our way to stay here we had such a pleasant time and experience!
This place is absolutely GORGEOUS. The pictures accurately depict this place’s beauty. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Each have their own bathroom. Plus, it has its own private courtyard. The WiFi was pretty spotty, but the owner is working on correcting it. Communication with him was good. The area is pretty urban and there are a bunch of places to eat and drink all within walking distance. There is garage parking, but unfortunately the alley leading to it is NARROW. We were actually too nervous about maneuvering through it. But, there is metered parking (through an app) on the street. Overall, it was a great stay.
Goose Alley is a normal, one-block city alley used by 6 residences. Vans/small trucks go down it, but it is obviously easier for "normal sized" vehicles. Tight but we have a 4-car garage on it :-) . Thanks for the review.
The White House... OTR
Property was immaculate and perfectly positioned in the heart of OTR. Loved the patio and features inside and out! Quick weekend trip with my husband; adults only and enjoyed the area. Great restaurants, shopping and close to all the amenities of the city... take in a Red’s game or theatre! Enjoyed the little boutiques just a walk away. Ted was amazing and incredibly accommodating to our needs. Far exceeded our expectations! A must stay and next time around will bring the kiddos with us!
Great condo in a great location!!
Loved the condo layout- perfect for 2 couples. Easy walking to great restaurants, shopping and bars. It was clean and well equipped. Ted, owner was easy to connect with and responsive. Hope to make another trip to Cincy!
Wow! Perfect location and awesome space!!
My wife and I stayed in this very cool, modern 2-bed, 2.5 bath “condo” for a week in October. The place is awesome, roomy, airy, light-filled, ground floor apartment. It had everything we needed. Great technology and interior design, right down to the artwork. The OTR is a super cool mix of really nice bar/restaurants, tons of foodie restaurants, shops, and the Findley market, all just steps out the door. The neighborhood is edgy, but safe, with a really great mix of folks. The owner, Ted, is gratuitous and attentive, and if there is anything you might need, he live up on the top floor. He is a great resource for things to do. The apartment has a great binder of local info so if you do no research you can just show up and figure it out. The back bedroom is super private and quiet, and the front bedroom, which is larger, is on the street side and is not that noisy - just typical city sounds, and very quiet at night. Great patio space, and it was nice to have a garage, and convenient to live on the ground floor with no stairs.
Can’t go wrong with this place. It’d be great for two couples, one couple, or two singles.
We will be returning to this property again and again.
