A return trip from the coast heading north on Highway 1 will find numerous waterfront restaurants serving local grown oysters, other seafood and of course libations

We, Pamela and John, acquired this property in 2007 and have taken great pleasure in up-grading it. We decide to share our little-bit-of-heaven with vactioners. We invite you to consider being one of our guests. Over a glass of wine (or not) we are available to talk about the various activities available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
John & Pamela purchased this cottage in 2007
We had a wonderful 4 day stay! Peaceful and relaxing. Cottage is just the right size. Hosts are wonderful. We will be back!
Not only was the casita well appointed in every area but the gardens that guests have total access to utilizing are beautifully kept and lush. We so enjoyed fresh strawberries each day not to mention the figs which I LOVE as well as tomatoes, carrots and green beans. John and Pamela were very gracious hosts and even had us over to share a bottle of their private label Montepulciano wine which was wonderful. Also loved watching the birds, especially the flock of hummingbirds which require at least once daily filling of multiple feeders. The pool was great on the days that it was quite hot. Casita is also very conveniently located for multiple activities and John and Pamela were great with recommendations and directions. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
I would highly recommend. Beautiful, peaceful setting close to vineyards, restaurants and shopping. Beautiful property with a garden and small Vineyard. Fresh strawberries, vegetables and bottle of wine given to us by John and Pamela. So very comfortable and relaxing. Enjoyed the pool. Perfect area. Amazing hummingbirds galore. Will stay longer on a return trip. I could go on forever...

This is a wonderful rental for a romantic weekend getaway! It's central to many wineries, great restaurants and the town square of Sonoma is just a small drive. Pamela and John are wonderful hosts and have a lovely garden which we used to supplement our patio breakfast with fresh strawberries. The casita has everything you would need and it's clear, John and Pamela have put a lot of thought into making their guests feel comfortable. Having a pool just outside your front door is a major plus!
Just delightful. Place is spacious and spotless. Birds galore, lovely fruit and vegetable garden. Full kitchen you could easily live in for extended stay. Easy access to so much. And the pool!
Seriously, not a single reservation about recommending.
My husband & I made the trip out to Kenwood CA from NJ for a family wedding at the nearby winery, Kunde Estate. This was our first trip to CA and we couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Casita. John and Pamela were very informative by taking in our interests/likes and giving us suggestions of points of interests within the area. The wineries in the area were wonderful; the restaurants were fantastic! A few wineries were even walking distance from the house. The Casita was clean and accurately portrayed from the pictures on HomeAway. If we are ever back in CA, we would definitely go back to the Kenwood Casita!!
