I am a third generation builder of fine homes. My grandfather would have built this custom craftsman home and it is an honor to be the owner!
Restoring the original style while adding contemporary updates allows my guests to appreciate the history while enjoying all the conveniences of current technology in home design.
I live nearby in a 1907 craftsman home which I recently restored in the historic Leschi neighborhood of Seattle.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our parents 70th wedding anniversary. Eleven adults and their three small children stayed in this house, plus eleven more adults joined us for a special celebration dinner on Sunday. The house worked well for this special family event.
Well appointed, spacious and comfortable, the house was exactly what I was looking for when I needed a place for 9 visitors from out of town.
I loved hosting the bridesmaids at this house. The layout was perfect for our group. My mother stayed in a room in the smaller house and the rest of us thirty something's spread out in the remaining bedrooms. The location was perfect for visitors to Seattle. Clean house and someone even came out Sunday night to put the trash and recycling on the curb for us. Our guests used a combination of rental cars, uber rides and walking during their stay.
We had a great time. The house had plenty of space on the main floor for the 10 of us who stayed in the house to entertain others from the Seattle area who dropped in to visit during our daughter's 4-day wedding week-end. It was also great to have the upper and lower suites to retreat to. Everyone who stayed and visited loved the house. It met everyone's picky expectations. Everything was provided for our rare reunion-- except a pizza cutter. And we cooked a lot of PaPa Murphy's pizza.
We had a great stay at Scott’s house. We were there to celebrate our son's wedding. All of my family was not able to fit in this house, but we found a very nice 1-bedroom apartment, VROB 489960, next door. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and big enough to have multiple cooks. The layout of the house was perfect for us. My parents stayed upstairs and when they became tired of all the activity, they were able to go up and get away for a while. There were nice spaces for people to gather to visit and to have other family and friends stop by. The front porch was our favorite place to gather.
It is a great neighborhood for taking walks, walking to restaurants and the zoo. Bus stops are close by that can take you to major sites. We did have 2 cars and had no problem with parking.
If we come back to Seattle with a group, we would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Scott!
Thank you Scott for an amazing house to stay in. It was very spacious and it held 10 adults and 1 child very comfortably! Great location, love that we were in walking distance of the zoo and the park.
This is a wonderful home for gathering a family together. The sleeping areas are arranged in pairs, with each pair having a bathroom. The kitchen is beautiful and quite well stocked with cooking gear. My only suggestion for improving the property is to add hand rails to the front steps at the sidewalk and porch levels. We had several older people in our group who needed a lot of assistance getting in and out of the house because there are not good hand rails.
Walk to the famous Rose Garden at the Zoo and contemplate the beautiful flowers as you stroll along. Enjoy the many local trails that enter and circumvent the park which allow for walking, jogging or biking to Green Lake.
If this home is unavailable or you need more space consider renting my other luxury rental property located nearby in Ravenna Park (see VRBO listing #344506).
