The Manor has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are beds for 16 people but we can accommodate up to 20 people. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and ice maker in the fridge. The manor has an over-sized laundry room and shower off the back door. With a BBQ grill on the back porch you can tell we have the Manor set up for a fun time!
A great room with a big screen TV and pool table can be found in the upstairs rec room. There are two relaxing sitting areas for good conversation, reading or just enjoying the scenery. In the cool of the evening you can enjoy the front porch where you can view the white mountain range beckoning in the distance while the family plays on the large lawn.
We are native to the area. The Manor was built as a family home on part of our 240 acre ranch that has been in the family for over 100 years. We raised our family of 5 in Orderville. We still live in Orderville and love the area.
Lynnette Spencer purchased this house in 2011
The area around the Manor offers everything to make your stay enjoyable. You should consider the Manor as you destination for you next family vacation, reunion, or retreat.
The Manor offers tranquility. The nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away. It is large enough to host a party of 20 people yet cozy enough to feel like home.
We were very happy with the vacation rental in Orderville. This house and yard were very beautiful. There was plenty of room for our entire family with kids. We found everything to be clean and the house was very well stocked with supplies. The yard was in bloom, and was beautiful. The only complaint was the mosquitos. It made it hard to enjoy the evenings, but a little bug spray was effective. The house was so spacious, and had everything we needed. There was an issue with the ice dispenser on the fridge, but we just used a bag of ice in the freezer. We will tell our friends about this rental, and would consider coming back again.
We were a group of 14 visiting Utah for Zion and Bryce, as well as ATV riding at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. The house was very spacious with room for everyone. We cooked almost all of our meals and the kitchen was spacious with enough counter space to cook for a large group. The property was wonderful and it was nice to hang outside at the beginning and end of our days. I had brought things like tp, paper towels and soap not knowing if there would be enough but the house was stocked nicely. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay on our trip....we will be back!!!!
White Mountain Manor was perfect for my group's getaway. The house was everything advertised and had everything we needed to prepare simple meals (chili, pasta, etc.), plenty of propane in the gas grill, firewood, more than enough towels, laundry detergent, etc. Check-in was easy, and the house was clean. We couldn't believe how big the house was - in fact the only (very minor) drawback was that due to the house's enormous size, it felt like it took awhile for the AC to cool down some of the upstairs bedrooms (though this was only an issue for the first few hours we got there). As hot as the days were, the nights were nice and cool outside, so had there been a few box fans for the bedroom windows, we wouldn't have even needed AC. Overall though, a near perfect experience and a great location for those interested in visiting Zion and Bryce, and I would definitely recommend the property to friends and family. One last thing - a Family Dollar just opened up next door to the house (wasn't even on Googlemaps yet when we stayed), so while you may want to stock up on most groceries in Hurricane, you can pick up a lot of the basic stuff, including eggs, milk, bread, cereal, right next door.
We celebrated my mothers 70th Birthday at Zion National park - so arrived with a party of 6 adults and 6 kids. This property was perfect for us. Ample rooms so that each of us could sleep comfortably! They even had a full size crib and a pack n play for our use. There were 3 bathrooms - which were a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen was a decent size. The 7 year old twins were never to be seen as they were busy playing pool or foosball!! (AWESOME idea!!) It was about a 30-40 minute drive to Zion National Park - which wasn't bad.
Beautiful and spacious property
Everything was clean and comfortable.
Excellent customer service - Lynette was very responsive.
Terry's Grocery store which is a mile away was well stocked. The next closest store which is a bigger one is 25 miles away.
Kitchen could be better stocked - the non stick vessels which were kept for cooking were completely worn off - the non stick coating was scraped.
Dishwasher didn't dispense soap. So we would put the dishwasher tab in there .. but it would just be in the compartment and the dishes would come out after just a water rinse. We found this out at the end of the trip - and it was a lil gross thought honestly as dishes werent getting a soapy wash since God knows when! Hope they get this fixed!!
I would definitely recommend this property to friends.
The White Mountain Manor is a great place for a large group. We had our annual Spring break trip in Southern Utah and stayed at the White Mountain Manor and it was fabulous. It says it sleeps 16-20, but extra space for kids and a sleeping bag. The house is very spacious and comfortable for a large group. There are plenty of areas in the house to spread out and have some alone space. We had a big Easter egg hunt and didn't find all the eggs, so someone may find a few eggs filled with treats. We used the bbq grill and stove and there were plenty of pots/pans and dinnerware. It is a great location if going to Zion's or Kanab. We ate dinner at the Thunderbird Restaurant in Mt. Carmel and they were able to accommodate a large party. A great little market in Orderville and has just about everything. Great all around place to stay !! We'll be back.
We drove from California and it was our first family vacation with cousins. We were able to visit both Zion and Bryce National Park. Everyone enjoyed having their own bedrooms especially my son who took the entertainment room. We went in November before Thanksgiving and the weather was nice. It got very chilly at night so my cousin's children were not able to play in the backyard. They didn't bring any movies with them so they got bored. Also, it got a little uncomfortable upstairs because of the heater. The house was very nice and clean. Everything was provided even towels and we cooked every night for family dinner. The owner is very helpful and nice . Overall, it was a memorable experience despite the unexpected circumstances.
Our Manor can be found in the heart of Southern Utah’s National Parks including Zion, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, and Grand Staircase National Monument. You can experience all of these with drive on scenic by-way Hwy 89, and then return to the Manor for an enjoyable time on the front porch or around our conversation fire pit. Orderville is home to the 'United Order' and has a rich pioneer history. The Manor is close to the Zion Narrows trail head and established four wheeling trails. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is a short drive from the Manor. The Bingham Art Gallery, home to the famous artist Maynard Dixon is 5 miles from the Manor. Visiting artists have used the Manor's front porch to paint the surrounding landscape. Humming birds are constant companions to the beautiful flowers surrounding the Manor. An active deer trail loops around behind the Manor.
