This Stunning Waterfront Condo Is Located In Quiet Area Of West End

This waterfront luxury condo is located on Mangrove Bight in West End. It is conveniently located in a safe, quiet area of West End. There is no need for a car! It is a 2 minute walk to bars, restaurants, Dive Shops, and Half Moon Bay Beach (where the famous Sundowners Bar is located), and a less than 10 minute boat ride to West Bay Beach which is considered one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.

This fully air-conditioned 1800 square foot condo has everything you will want:



-Oceanfront sunbathing area / sunset cocktail deck

-Master bedroom with a king sized bed, TV, an en-suite bathroom

-Second master bedroom with a king bed

-Third bedroom with a Queen Bed

-A kitchen fully equipped with the great appliances, a breakfast bar, and granite counter tops

-A washer and dryer

-Large custom made dining table

-Living area with a sofa, love seat, and a HDTV with DVD and Cable.

-A balcony with great ocean views, a fantastic breeze, a large propane grill, and a table and chairs.

This luxurious condo comfortably sleeps 6 people. The neighboring three bedroom two bathroom unit is also available for rent if you are a larger group.

As part of our rental service, we can arrange for anything and everything you want to do while on the island. We have lived here for over 10 years and know everything about everything on Roatan. We can even stock the refrigerator with your favorite foods and drinks. What better than to have an ice cold beer waiting for you upon arrival?

The condo also comes with a cell phone that can make and receive inexpensive local and international phone calls and wireless internet.

Unlike some of the other units at Mangrove Dock, we do not include electricity in the rental price. This allows us to charge as much fairer and cheaper rental rate, AS MUCH AS $1000 LESS PER WEEK than the second floor unit above us which includes electricity in their rental rate (and has a very similar view).

Assuming you use the AC at night on a reasonable temperature, the typical electric bill is $15 - $20 / day.

We read the meter at check-in and check-out and use the previous month's bill to determine the rate. We found that including electricity in the price made people want to get their money's worth by leaving the A/Cs constantly on at full blast and every light in the place on. Not only is it eco unfriendly, it meant we had to keep the rental rate high to cover the cost of the large electricity bills.

We have a fantastic year round wind that comes straight through the condo if you leave the doors open. The master bedroom opens onto the balcony so you can leave the sliding glass door open and get a nice ocean breeze. You might not even need A/C.

Why Caribbean Colors chose West End

I really like the feel West End. There is a good mix of expats, tourists, and islanders alike. There is nightlife, diving, beaches, and good restaurants. When I finally decided to buy, I wanted to be close to it all while far enough away to still be quiet and peaceful. I also wanted to have all the comforts of home and a maybe a few extra (like a pool or a place to park a boat). When I finally found this property, I knew it was the one.

What makes this condo unique

I don't even know where to start. This is definitely one of the nicest rentals in West End. My favorite benefit of this property may be relaxing by the pool after a dive is a very good perk. Or fishing off the dock with a cold beer in hand while watching the sunset. Or having a few friends over to BBQ on the patio. There are just so many to choose from.

We enjoyed our stay at Mangove Dock. It is very well equipped and very spacious. The clothesline on the deck was used everyday for drying bathing suits and towels. The location is quiet and only 6 minutes from the beach. We loved Roatan especially the snorkeling!

really loved the condo. the location is perfect, just outside west end but close enough to walk everywhere. the pool was a great way to spend the afternoons in and i will definitely be returning to mangrove dock on our next vacation

A vacation to remember!

We just returned from our trip to Roatan yesterday, and we are still buzzing on how much fun we had! Mangrove Dock townhouses are beautiful! They are clean, spacious, and have everything you need and more. Our Hostess made everything simple from handling a ride to and from the airport, tips on picking up groceries, dive shops, places to eat , and close places to snorkel from shore. We did not rent a car; we walked everywhere or took a water taxi. Our airport driver also does island tours, which we took him up on. He took us all over to places that are off the normal tourist trail, including a festival in Punta Gorda! I can't imagine a nicer place to stay; we will be back : )

Wow, what a nice stay

We stayed in the condo for one week. We found the residence to be clean and well furnished. The place even comes with refreshments in the fridge. With it's location, we decided not to rent a car. This was the right choice in that everything is a short walk away. The breeze coming through the home was nice enough not to turn on the AC during the day. We ran it at night. This might be different in another time of the year.

The power is subject to Roatan's outages, so this happened twice. Beware there is no Backup Generator. I expect the power to go off, so it was no big deal.

Highly recommended. This turned out to be one of the best stays that we have had on Roatan. The condo played a part on that.

as advertised

The condo was exactly as advertise. Wonderful. Perfect location. Nice short walk to everything you need on a vacation...beach, restaurants, bar, deck, pool, dive shop and snorkeling. Caroline's partner Nick met us at the condo. We rented a car from the airport. The check in was easy, laid back and informative. We put our deposit down for the electricity but ended up getting it all back, as you get a nice breeze through the place with the windows open and we ended up just using the fan at night. Kitchen has everything you need. Bottled water is supplied and run to the fridge for ice which is nice. Garbage and recycle was super easy just outside the door and the family of cats out the side eat the scraps you throw out of the kitchen window. Kitchen table is nice and big and we enjoyed the many TVs with satellite and netflix. Wifi was perfect as well. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. Great value for your money.

Can't wait to go back!

Had a great time staying in Mangrove Dock West End, Roatan with 3 other friends. 5 or 10 minute walk to the scuba companies like Roatan Divers and multiple snorkel locations, restaurants and pubs, groceries. Very relaxing having breakfast or an evening drink out on the patio. Good size fridge and well equipped kitchen were really convenient for cooking up most of our evening meals and breakfasts. Nice big dining table too. We had WiFi access which was really nice for winding down in the evenings after doing scuba courses and fun dives.

This waterfront condo is fantastically located in a quiet, safe area in West End. It is the ground floor of a 3 story condo building located at Mangrove Dock. The building is situated on Mangrove Bight, a small bay just inside the reef. It is less than a 2 minute walk into town where you can find restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, beaches, snorkeling, and dive shops. And speaking of diving, our world famous reef is just a short swim from shore and is great for snorkeling and diving. If you are a SCUBA diver or want to learn to dive, we work with a local dive shop to provide discounted packages to our guests.
