Clean, and warm!!!
This ranch home is the place for you to relax and experience a quiet neighborhood in Livingston. The house is newly remodeled with three bedrooms upstairs, and a bonus room and play room in the basement. The kitchen has all new stainless appliances and a washer and dryer in the basement. Park your drift boat out front after a fantastic float on the Yellowstone River. Sit on the newly built deck and soak up the sun. Walk to many restaurants, the Yellowstone River, or take a drive to Chico Hot Springs, Paradise Valley, Bozeman, or Yellowstone Park. Most of all - RELAX!!!
I was born in Livingston and this is the house where my roots are deep. I have created many paintings here and I continue to create paintings here when I am not in Wyoming or traveling with my wife and family. Please make yourself at home. Enjoy!!
Paul Waldum purchased this house in 1957
This property is warm, inviting and filled with a family atmosphere. Please enjoy the hospitality after a productive day while fishing on the Yellowstone, a busy day of shopping in Bozeman, or a sun filled day of skiing at Bridger Bowl.
Throughout the home/studio you will view original art. Since a young child growing up in the house, I have created many painting or prints. As a guest, we would like you to choose one of the limited edition serigraph prints of the Livingston area as a gift of our appreciation to you. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us and we hope to see you again.
Comfortable overall, well stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, etc., some good suggestions for places to go and places to eat are listed by Paul and Mollie. The house is close to a grocery, restaurants, and the river, but yet in a very quiet area. It is just an hour drive to Yellowstone National Park, but if going to Yellowstone is your main focus of your vacation you might want to consider something closer. We got tired of the drive every day. But if you are just going for a day it is a beautiful drive.
Eight of us shared this beautiful, well maintained and clean home. The location was quiet and very convenient for local Livingston events, as well as access to Yellowstonee Park, the Paradise Valley and other interesting locations. The owners provided extra perks, such as a treat basket and baskets of toiletries. The kitchen is well stock with utensils, dishes and pots. The use of the washer and dryer was a bonus. Paul and Molly provided board games, toys and a variety of books to read. Although we were all adults, it is apparent that the home is set up for diverse groups of visitors.. The outside porch, complete with patio chairs, provided many opportunities for enjoyable outside conversations. By surprise, we tripped a breaker and searched to find the box, but were unsuccessful. I emailed Paul and we received a quick response as to where the breaker box was located.. The home is comfortable and inviting. The street where the home is located is quiet and serene and the home is surrounded by friendly neighbours who allow for privacy. I would stay here again at any time and highly recommend the rental of this home for groups of couples or larger families. A suggestion I would make is to exchange the futon in the basement room, even though it was reported to be comfortable, for two twin beds. Closing off the recreation room in the basement to incorporate a fifth bedroom would provide opportunities for another couple or singles. We were three couples and two singles. Unfortunately, one of our party did not have as comfortable of a stay as he slept on a blow up mattress on the floor. Therefore, a configuration of four couples will work better than the set up of our group. Five out of five stars for this vacation rental!
My family and I made our first trip up north, Pual and Mollies place was perfect! It was cozy, the beds were comfortable and the kids loved the game room down stairs. Our hosts were the best, providing complimentary Starbucks coffees and giving us a gift of know of Pauls original paintings, I can't wait to get it framed. We had the best vacation and this house made it even better.
I was here last year and enjoyed it a lot. I had a few extra days before going to another house in another town. I wish I could take this one with me. It is a very nice place to stay.
* good location
* well-equipped a clean house
* friendly owner
* bonuses: ping-pong table, nature and wild life art
We had a wonderful time at the house, I wish we could have stayed longer and have a chance to utilize everything this place has to offered. Paul provided us with everything we needed for the stay, and the place is just as the description, very well equipped. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and it was lovely that he even provided us fresh ground coffee and a snack basket for the stay, we felt very welcoming. The lovely print was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. We enjoyed the restaurant recommendation from Paul so much that we went back to dine there for 3 times. It's such a lovely town to stay at, and I will definitely rent this place again in the future if I come back for a revisit!
This home is only minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, or a fifteen minute walk to the park, river, or multiple restaurants in downtown Livingston. The quite neighborhood has little traffic so it is a great place to park your driftboat or raft. You are only minutes away from a variety of river access points for floating or fishing.
