|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Peacefully nestled at the top of a subdivision enviously located close to all ammenities, minutes walk to a fantastic trail, this home has it all. Beautiful open-concept design with bedrooms and baths on opposite ends offers the utmost in privacy and comfort, with 2 gas fireplaces, a jacuzzi tub, and a wrap-around balcony which bathes in the glory of Sedona's red rocks from sun-up to sun-down. Truely inviting living room with picture windows that skillfully draw the outdoors in.
While we currently live in Ontario, our second home in Sedona is a special place of refuge to find peace, tranquility and yet with numerous opportunities to engage in an active lifestyle of golf, tennis, biking, and of course hiking which is second to none. Moving closer towards retirement, we'd like to both spend more time soaking in the beauty and comforts in Sedona, the wonderfull weather, but also take advantage of the varied activities she offers.
Reinier or Catherine purchased this house in 2012
Having travelled widely and lived in various places around the globe, Sedona drew us in. She has a powerful beauty which is complemented by this magnificent property which has made short vacations repeatedly special. The location and how its positioned among the hills is breathtaking. It demands to be shared.
Location. Radiant glows of the red rocks welcoming in the day at breakfast.
Location. 20 minutes walk from the front door on a trail around Table Top mountain finds one perched high above the bustle of the homes below, with Bell and Courthouse Rocks in the distance.
Location. A short walk to the main road, a visit to one of the coffee shops, and pick up a few groceries before strolling home.
Location. Settling in with a glass of wine on the balcony, and take in the sunset.
And so much more.
We stayed in the house for almost 2 weeks, last October (2012) and we
had a great time. The view at the famous Sadonian red rocks is
astonishing from all (bed)rooms in the house and also from the spacious
The accommodation itself is luxury with a complete kitchen and
comfortable beds. The master bedroom even provides a jacuzzi, which is
very relaxing after a long hiking day. The entrance way to the house
provides access for 2 cars, which is very convenient, too.
The location of the house is in a quite neighborhood of Sedona, but
still at walking distance from the shops and a variety of restaurants
along the main road.
Hiking trails are easily accessible by foot or 5 to 10 minutes drives by
car. The drive to the Grand Canyon is about 2 hours drive by car.
The weather was great, too. Cool at night and comfortable warm with
clear blue skies during the day.
So, we had a great 2 weeks here and we definitely want to come back again!
PS. Don't make too much noise at night or you will wake up the neighbor's African watchbird which makes a very interesting warning call.
We were extremely pleased with the house. It was exactly as described and more. The views were spectacular from the living room and full length deck. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with high end cooking appliances. The beds were top of the line, very comfortable. The house was a short distance to all attractions too.
We were in Sedona for 1 week and the house was great. It was spacious and well laid out. There were 6 of us - my wife and I and our 4 children (young adults). The kitchen has everything you need and the view from the dining room with its large glass windows was great at breakfast time and for the 2 dinners we cooked in the house. The barbeque worked out quite well for those two nights. Having some coffee while sitting on the balcony (right outside the living room). was also quite nice. Centrally located off of 89A so everything was easy to get to. You really can't ask for a nicer house. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Sedona.
We were delighted to have this house as our home away from home while visiting Sedona for a week. We shared it with my husband's aunt and uncle (in their 70s) and they were equally delighted and amazed by the home's comfort and spectacular views of Sedona's famous Red Rock. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and the location was perfect - short walk or drive to restaurants, shopping and sights to see. Sunset watching from the deck while sipping a glass of wine was our favorite way to end each day there! We had a lovely time.
If we were to buy a house in Sedona this would be it. Everything that you need and some that you might want is provided. The view is to die for and the location is quiet and peaceful. One of the best hikes in Sedona is out the door and up the street. We are two couples, one (us) age 70 and the other in their 50's all agreed that West Sedona is the place to base for day trip outings. Places we visited were the Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, stood on the corner in Winslow, Arizona, Montezuma's Castle and well and a 4 hour Pink Jeep trip to see petroglyphs.
The owners have provided everything to make your stay easy. Also, they are prompt with communicating helpful info concerning Sedona and surrounds. We would recommend this house to anyone unless we were trying to go back at the same time. Wood we go back? YES Would we rent the same house? YES
This lovely home is well set up for a family, a small group of friends and others wishing separate living quarters with a very pleasant communal space and a million dollar view. It is within walking proximity of restaurants, stores and some hiking. Catherine is very responsive and helpful. Would love to return someday.
The house and view are as advertised. The interior, while not deluxe, is comfortable and commodious. It has a virtually uninterrupted panorama from Coxcomb to Steamboat and the balcony extends the length of the house and around the corner so you have every opportunity to soak in the scenery while eating, drinking or just gazing. We were afforded a variety of clouds and mists and sunrises and lightning and a stunning rainbow that made the red rocks the focal points of amazing photos.
Catherine, with whom we primarily dealt, is professional and cordial, a good communicator, and our business transactions were smooth. Appliances, plumbing and heating were all in good order. You may be supplying a few replacement incidentals like paper towels or trash bags but it's a minor inconvenience. This property is a good value and we wouldn't hesitate recommending it to friends or strangers. We'd like to give it a 4.5 if we could.
Centrally located in West Sedona, 10 minutes walk to numerous restaurants and grocery stores, yet sufficienty far from traffic for quiet relaxation with magnificent panoramic views of the mountains enveloping Sedona.
