About Sean Braden

We are a California family who have lived in San Francisco for almost 10 years.

Why Sean Braden chose San Francisco

We are a 3 block walk to hip and quaint Cortland Avenue - home to 5 star restaurants, local coffee shops, bakeries, sweet boutiques and stores. We are also walking distance to Holly Park and Bernal Hill that have some of the best wrap around views (photo op!) in San Francisco as well as great areas for dogs and kids. You might also like Alemany Farmer's Market (Saturday) and Flea Market (Sunday).

We are less than a mile to Mission Street - bustling with the full diversity and flavor San Francisco has to offer - an array of restaurants offering local California cusine as well as food choices from all over the world. There is a great selection of trendy and ecletic bars with many types of fun live entertainment.

What makes this house unique

We close to BART and MUNI and have access to all parts of the city. There is easy street parking in our neighborhood if you wish to drive. We are also very close to the 101/280 if you need quick access to the pennisula/silicon valley or for a day trip down the coast.

We are happy to help with tips on various sightseeing activities for all ages. If you have children, we are happy to accomodate with beds, toys, highchairs, booster seats.

Amazing!!!!

What a beautiful home! First time in San Francisco. Loved the city but the best part of the day was coming back to this beautiful house. It has everything you will need. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had the best of everything. We enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner in the beautiful dining room. Location was fantastic. Lots of places to drink and dine. Nice park right up the street. Would recommend and stay here again!

Amazing 7 nights!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first VRBO experience and I am happy to say that we had a fabulous time in San Francisco, partly due to the gorgeous accommodations in this home. This 2 bedroom home was plenty spacious for myself, a teenager, and my parents. The photos online are exactly as the home appears. One of the bedrooms is a little small, the luggage rack was kept in the hallway, but it did not get in the way at all. It is an easy walk up the hill to the shops & restaurants in Bernal Heights. A couple of the bars that we thought we could get a burger at were 21 and older, but there were plenty of restaurants to chose from. We walked down to Mission Street and had Mexican for dinner one night. There is a Safeway grocery store a short drive away and also a small grocery store just a couple blocks away (although it was on the pricey side). A lot of buses passed by on the main drag, but we had a rental car so we did not have a need for the bus. My son and I took the BART to Berkeley one afternoon from downtown and returned to the Mission & 24th BART station. We walked home from the BART, but it was a bit of a hike - I think 1.5 miles. We never had trouble getting a parking spot right out front, and the day we had to move our car for street cleaning the owner was headed out and gave us his parking spot. Downtown SF was about 15-20 minute drive with very good traffic (compared to Washington DC!). There is a nifty farmer's market on Saturday and flea market on Sunday that we walked to (although we did get a ride back up the hill). This home is very convenient to the airport as well - maybe 15-20 minutes. The owners live upstairs and we were able to hear little feet running around, but nothing bothersome. The outside garden area was very pretty. There were a couple of neighbor dogs that liked to bark briefly, but the owners seemed to quiet them very quickly. My first morning sleeping in the back bedroom I thought it was raining, but it was just a water feature in the garden. All in all, a fabulous time and an amazing house. Would definitely return! Thank you Sean and family!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying in this apartment very much!! The owner's description and our expectations matched very well with the experience of our stay. We especially liked the extensive equipment and personal touch of the apartment. We had a car and I think it was valuable that there was a parking lot outside the apartment.

Perfect for families with young children.

  • 5 of 5

Our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter loved the playhouse in the garden and we loved sitting out there on a sunny morning. Rosie loved the child sized chairs and stools to sit on and the teddy bears to hug. There are so many interesting things to look at in the house, on the walls, in the cupboards. Wish we could have stayed longer. We were attending a wedding so we didn'thave much time to spend in this property but what time we had was lovely. This is a very well stocked and appointed property.

Luxury Indeed!

  • 5 of 5

This property is all as advertised - and more! We had four very pleasant days here in early May. This was our very first time in the USA and we were so glad we stayed here rather than an expensive hotel downtown which only gave a fraction of the quality. Thank you Sean for opening your home to us.

This is an excellent holiday apartment.

  • 5 of 5

This lovely apartment is in a charming Victorian house in the heart of Bernal Heights. Our stay was extremely comfortable and there is everything one could possibly need in the apartment; it's exceptionally well equipped for a holiday let. We enjoyed everything about our stay here, including a very pleasant garden. Bernal Heights is an attractive & interesting neighbourhood and Cortland Avenue, the main shopping street with a variety of restaurants & cafes, is a short walk away. There are spectacular views of the city from the top of the hill. Access to other parts of San Francisco is easy as the public transport system is so good. We would be more than happy to stay here again and will recommend it to friends.
