It is close to Crane Beach, Foul Bay beach and10-15 minutes drive to Oistins town and fishing complex and Enterprise Beach, other places of interest is the Foursquare Rum Factory(Heritage Park), Emerald City shopping Complex , and Sunbury Great House.
This house sleeps 6 person. Bookings are taken for 2persons and upwards and for minimum of 3 nights.
I stayed at this house for a week and it was terrific. The house is very large with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, larger than it appears in the photos. The location is convenient to drive or walk to the local supermarket and a short drive to fabulous Foul Bay beach. The owners live in the next property over and are very kind, just a phone call and they will help you with any issue. There is also a mobile phone for visitors to use if needed. Views of the ocean and the black belly sheep off the verandah made for a very tranquil and relaxing holiday. I plan to stay here again and would recommend it for anyone traveling with a family or even alone. Barbados is a gem, definitely the friendliest and most beautiful of the Caribbean islands.
We are just back from our holiday in Barbados and really enjoyed our stay. This Bajan holiday home is a real ‘home from home’ with such thought and care put into it’s presentation – the things that make a real difference to our stay were present – beach towels, mobile phone, internet, DVD player, satellite TV plus the fully equipped kitchen and starter pack.
We loved the spacious airy house with high ceilings and cool breezes from the distant sea. With 3 large bedrooms and space in the sitting area, 2 full bathrooms and a loo - the house could easily accomodate 9 people. We used the patio at the front of the house for breakfast and lunches plus chilling out. The house is also ideally located for shops – mini market just 8 mins on foot, bus stop 4 mins away or by car to the West coast – 15 mins. We really enjoyed visiting many attractions – Bathsheba, Bridgetown, Dover Beach, Sunbury Plantation House, St Lawrence Gap, Oistins and then returned to the peace of this lovely home.

This was my second two month stay ( 2011 & 2012) at Ms. Harewood's Barbados paradise. One could not ask for a more attentive and gracious host.
The property is exactly as it appears in the photos and description on this site. The cooling Trade Winds blow across the scenic spacious front porch 24 hours daily. It is the perfect environment for relaxing with a cool drink and a good book, or hanging out with friends/family watching the whitecaps on the Atlantic in the distance.
A ten minute walk brings one to rugged cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. Beautiful Atlantic beaches at Foul Bay or the Crane Resort are a short bus ride, or even shorter taxi/rental car ride from the house.
The house is cool, comfortable and COMPLETELY equipped with everything from a dozen (or more) beach towels, to all kitchen utensils, appliances, even a clothes washer and clothes lines
Supermarket/bakery, pharmacy, hardware store & bus stops are a short walk through the quiet & safe Harmony Lodge neighborhood. The municipal buses offer island wide transportation for $1 USD and pass frequently (every 1/2 hour or less. A delightful Rum Shop, just beyond the supermarket, serves good food and offers a pool table with plenty of friendly local competition.
A MAJOR bonus with this rental is LEROY CLARKE. Leroy owns a well maintained taxi and lives nearby. He is available virtually 7/24 for transportation point to point or a guided tour of the island at very favorable rates. His phone number is programed into the cell phone that is provided with the house.
I will be returning for another two month stay in Jan 2013, and each year thereafter for the foreseeable future.
My partner and I stayed at this bungalow at the end of January 2011, when we arrived Mrs Harewood was there to show us around, the place was exactly as described. -not to mention extremely clean and tidy.
All bedding and laundry was fresh, plenty of fans around to keep you nice and cool in the hot Barbados temperatures. Television, with several stations for when you want to relax in the evening. And a mobile phone connected to one of the local networks, which is pay as you go incase you need to book anything or call taxis. For added convenience theres a washing machine at the bungalow-so you can pack light and save room for souvenirs/duty free! And a washing line outside-your stuff will dry so quickly!
Bust stop literally a five minute walk away round the corner, which takes you all around the island for about $2bd, if you get confused people are extremely friendly and will help you find your way.
Also round the corner is a 'Trimart' supermarket, for any groceries you might need. Crane hotel is nearby for a reasonably priced lunch, from their outdoor grill.-Beautiful views and swimming pools, that you can gaze out to, whilst sitting outside and sipping a cocktail..

We spend 4 weeks in this lovley house. ANd it had everything. It was close to the supermarket. The bus stop was just around the corner so you could take the bus into tje City.
Mrs Harewood took care of us all the time and were very helpful.
The location was perfect because we wanted to make it on our own. Take the bus and so on.
We are recomedning this hous to everybody!!!

I stayed in this rental for about a month. The photos give a good indication of what you can expect. Everything was clean and tidy when I arrived and the owner was always happy to answer any questions I had.
I would recommend this property to others as the house was in a very quiet and friendly area with a supermarket just around the corner and the beach just a short drive away. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here if you don't want to catch buses though. If you want to be right in the middle of tourist action then this might be a little too quiet for you. But if you're after a relaxing and carefree holiday - this is the place.
