If a step back in time, with memories of a simpler life surrounded by loved ones, wide open skies and beautiful Emerald Water would bring rest to your weary soul, then you would want to spend your vacation at Gulfside Getaway. Located in Laguna Beach on the peaceful West end of Panama City Beach, this 3 bedroom, 3 bath Gulf front house with a large, open screened porch, a terraced grilling area, and a living area wrapped in beautiful, warm, old knotty pine is the place to relax and reconnect. In addition to the living area, there are a well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. A few steps away from the main house is a bunk room with its own bath area, perfect for your teenagers. Next door, there is a laundry room with full size washer-dryer. Rental of this lovely, older Florida ranch beach house gives you a tremendous bang for your buck. This is a great property to make NEW beach memories.
This is a Saturday to Saturday rental in Summer Season.
Two of us stayed here the week beginning 09/11/2016 and loved it, as usual. Right out the back door, off the patio, right into the sand. The patio is huge and great for friends to visit and enjoy the beach without the sand. It is quite and yet convenient to everything you would need while on the beach. Grocery stores and shopping are both a very short distance away. The house is fully stocked with all the cooking needs. The skillets were worn to the point we had to purchase some, but other than that it had everything we needed. Will definitely rent this one again!! Thanks for a fabulous vacation.
We stayed here in May 2015. We loved it! Darling home with lots of character. We don't need fancy! We enjoy cooking and it was well equipped. Loved the screened-in porch and ate all of our meals out there. Of course, being directly on the beach was great and the weather was perfect. We'll definitely be back!
This property is awesome if ,like me, you enjoy vintage. Very spacey. Great for kids. Wonderful large screened in porch with rocking chairs and a lounge chair-- also an easy path to beach. The house was built in 1958 so was one of the early beach houses which I think is so cool. Many windows and a huge entertainment area outside. The carport was also nice.
The downside was the bathrooms. The showers were great with a lot of room but showerheads were very low. The sink and commode area were way too cramped. There were no plugs in the bathrooms as well which made it difficult to blow dry hair. The master bedroom has a really nice light over dresser where with an extension cord you could blow dry hair. Sinks in the bathrooms are definitely vintage and there is no bathtub.
BUT-- having said all that it was a GREAT trip for us and our daughter and 3 and 4 year old granddaughters. I would definitely stay here again. Not plush but just right for our needs!
