Santa Fe House Rental Photos and Description

4 Bedroom Historic Adobe In The Railyard District

Find rest and privacy in our tastefully furnished historic adobe home. From our quiet neighborhood, you’ll be an easy 20 minute walk from the historic Plaza, through some of the most interesting parts of old Santa Fe. We’re 3 short blocks from the exciting Railyard, the new gathering place for Santa Fe’s citizens and visitors; explore museums and galleries, delight in our fantastic restaurants, discover the famous year-round farmers market, and enjoy bike trails. For snow enthusiasts, we are just 17 miles (1/2 hour) from the Santa Fe Ski Basin.

This 4 bedroom house is our family home when we are in town. The front two bedrooms each offer a queen bed and share a bathroom with tub and shower. The two bedrooms in the rear wing of the home (one with a queen and the other with two twin beds) share a bathroom with shower. The rear and front wings of the house are separated by the common living and dining areas, providing some privacy. Skylights, nichos, archways and high ceilings contribute to the unique, light-filled character of the home.

Our home is your home in Santa Fe, and includes a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, patio garden, and dining and living areas with a fireplace woodstove. Casa de Gracia is family-friendly, including laundry access, broadband Wi-Fi, filtered drinking water and many other amenities.

Come into Santa Fe on the Rail Runner from the Albuquerque Airport and walk here…or drive in and use our off-street parking. To get to the Plaza, or to other locations within the downtown area, walk or take the free shuttle service, the Santa Fe Pick-up, which operates from the Santa Fe Depot a few blocks away.

We invite you to find rest and enjoy the peaceful qualities of the house which has an enclosed garden for privacy. Our friend Carly will be your host for your stay.

Why Lisa Lee chose Santa Fe

We were attracted to the home's unique features, as well as its special location. This historic home was built by a member of one of New Mexico's most respected political families.

What makes this house unique

Casa de Gracia is an authentic adobe home which was remodeled in collaboration with a noted local artist and designer.

Casa de Gracia's location is ideal, adjacent to Santa Fe's Railyard and famous year-round Farmer's Market, and a 15-20 minute walk to the historic Plaza through some of the most interesting parts of old Santa Fe.

Such a welcoming home!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th annual stay at Casa De Gracia and it never disappoints our group of four long-time friends. We love the new addition of the rocking chairs on the porch! Thank you for your comfortable home and well-equipped kitchen - it was perfect for preparing dinner on the patio. We highly recommend the new restaurant "401" just up the road. Wow, the new art experience "Meow Wolf" and The House of Eternal Return is worth a return trip. We look forward to staying in your lovely home again.

Great home for an easy Santa Fe vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We have family in Santa Fe so we've visited plenty. This visit was for a 90th birthday/family reunion celebration. We had three generations in our home and it very comfortably worked for one night's get together of 18 people. It's a short walk to the Railyard where we took advantage of the Farmer's Market. Great location and a lovely front porch where we'd gather at day's end to enjoy the cool nights. Only downside is there is no air-conditioning or swamp cooler so on the very hottest days it would have been nice to have a screen door on the back door to allow a little better circulation and keep the bugs out. Very kid friendly with booster seats and all the extras that we didn't need to travel with. You just need to bring the necessities, the house is well stocked with everything else.

Great Place!

Feels Like Home

  • 5 of 5

I recently stayed in your house with my extended family. The house was not just comfortable, it felt like home with so many details covered- from kitchen necessities to games for the kids to play. Even the bedding was comfortable! I would definitely come back and stay in Casa De Gracia again- many thanks for creating such a hospitable environment!- Melissa Williams

NIce location and comfortable home!

  • 5 of 5

Casa De Gracia is a nice, comfortable home in the center of Santa Fe....just a couple blocks walk to the Railyard district, lovely Saturday morning walk to the Farmers Market, and Brew pub! The home was quite comfortable for 6 adults....all bedrooms contained floor fans which was convenient for the 90+ degree weather last week! I would definitely consider staying here again!

Surpassed my expectations

  • 5 of 5

This home was everything we expected and more. The listing was accurate, but we did not realize how comfortable the size of the rooms would be. Property was clean and very well maintained. We would be quick to recommend this home to others.

We had a 16 month old with us all week and a 17 month old and 4 year old for part of the week. We were so pleased with how child-friendly the property was. Safety plugs in the outlets meant a lot to us. No breakable novelties within reach of children but well appointed for adults to enjoy. Additionally, they provided two small cribs (Pak & Play) for us and two child booster seats.

The bedrooms were sizeable allowing ample room for additional people to sit and plenty of room for walking around or playing on the floor. Closets were large.

Kitchen was very well furnished. There were almost as many tools as I have at home in my gourmet kitchen! it was pleasant and very workable for two chefs.

We really appreciated that basic essentials were available: napkins, coffee filters, salt and pepper, cooking oil, laundry detergent, and more.

The laundry facilities were exceptional with top of the line washer and dryer. Laundry room was sizeable and provided a lot of storage area. Brooms, mops, etc. were provided which made for easy clean-up after children.

Carly showed up to help us in and give us an overview. We really appreciated the personal touch and her availability. She remained available via text all week for our minor questions.

Outside, the flowers were beautiful! Such a lovely front yard to enjoy upon arriving and while sitting on the bench on the front porch. We enjoyed the patio table on the side patio. Even the occasional cat siting were fun.

Location was superb. Easy walking distance to Railyard, Plaza and playground. Nice quiet street.

Try the Santa Fe Cooking School classes for a real introduction to Santa Fe fare. The galleries on Canyon Road were exceptional but hang on to your wallet! We were not disappointed with any of the restaurants we visited. Try The Shed and Sweetwater Cafe for some creative food and drinks.

Go and enjoy yourselves,

Susan Runnels

Good location, comfortable house

  • 4 of 5

The house looks just as expected. It actually sleeps 5 comfortably, if you are singles. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Dishwasher was a pain to run and ice maker didn't work. Another problem we encountered was the need for more bed linens, towels and wash clothes. One of our party got ill and her roommate ended up sleeping on the couch with no sheets, just a blanket. The location is very convenient. Close to town etc. Overall experience was good.
