About the property

4 Bedroom Historic Adobe In The Railyard District

Find rest and privacy in our tastefully furnished historic adobe home. From our quiet neighborhood, you’ll be an easy 20 minute walk from the historic Plaza, through some of the most interesting parts of old Santa Fe. We’re 3 short blocks from the exciting Railyard, the new gathering place for Santa Fe’s citizens and visitors; explore museums and galleries, delight in our fantastic restaurants, discover the famous year-round farmers market, and enjoy bike trails. For snow enthusiasts, we are just 17 miles (1/2 hour) from the Santa Fe Ski Basin.

This 4 bedroom house is our family home when we are in town. The front two bedrooms each offer a queen bed and share a bathroom with tub and shower. The two bedrooms in the rear wing of the home (one with a queen and the other with two twin beds) share a bathroom with shower. The rear and front wings of the house are separated by the common living and dining areas, providing some privacy. Skylights, nichos, archways and high ceilings contribute to the unique, light-filled character of the home.

Our home is your home in Santa Fe, and includes a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, patio garden, and dining and living areas with a fireplace woodstove. Casa de Gracia is family-friendly, including laundry access, broadband Wi-Fi, filtered drinking water and many other amenities.

Come into Santa Fe on the Rail Runner from the Albuquerque Airport and walk here…or drive in and use our off-street parking. To get to the Plaza, or to other locations within the downtown area, walk or take the free shuttle service, the Santa Fe Pick-up, which operates from the Santa Fe Depot a few blocks away.

We invite you to find rest and enjoy the peaceful qualities of the house which has an enclosed garden for privacy. Our friend Carly will be your host for your stay.

Why Lisa Lee chose Santa Fe

We were attracted to the home's unique features, as well as its special location. This historic home was built by a member of one of New Mexico's most respected political families.

What makes this house unique

Casa de Gracia is an authentic adobe home which was remodeled in collaboration with a noted local artist and designer.

Casa de Gracia's location is ideal, adjacent to Santa Fe's Railyard and famous year-round Farmer's Market, and a 15-20 minute walk to the historic Plaza through some of the most interesting parts of old Santa Fe.

Spring Break Visit

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home close to the Train Station in the Historical District of Santa Fe. The dwelling was well maintained, peaceful at night, and within walking distance of all things we enjoy. Close to the Plaza, museums, shopping of all kinds, and if doing day trips; close to major roads. We would recommend this home as a location of choice. Phyllis & Bryan from Texas

Fabulous!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house.....perfect for 4 women. Absolute terrific location...central to grocery, pharmacy and plaza. Poor television service and not so great WiFi. One thing we did notice with 2 women on walkers: Santa Fe is NOT handicap friendly!

Great value, clean and cozy

  • 4 of 5

Four women stayed here for 4 nights so we could site-see in Santa Fe and Taos. The location was perfect, about 1 or 2 miles to most places in the shopping/museum/arts district, and VERY quick and easy access to the highway that goes to Taos and Albuquerque. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house was clean and cozy, beds were comfortable, kitchen was spacious and up to date. One bathroom was spacious, the other was small but adequate. Minor maintenance issues ... plug in small bathroom didn't work, wifi is very weak in 2 bedrooms. I highly recommend this house for the price, we would definitely stay here again.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for our cousins trip to Santa Fe. Close enough to the Railroad District to browse the farmers market or catch the shuttle to the historic Plaza and Museum Hill, but also easy access to the highways north to Taos, the tent rocks, Bandolier, and the mineral springs spa at Ojo Caliente.

The house was well stocked with supplies and staples so we could do laundry, wash dishes, prepare light meals without starting from scratch at the grocery store (except for no pepper in the salt and pepper shakers--we bought some and left it for the next guests).

We missed the presidential debate because of no reception on the small television, which was our only small complaint, but we were on the go so much that no tv was not really an issue for us. Coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening on the courtyard patio was great. Nice to have some outdoor space in a city setting.

Gorgeous home in great location

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I were having a London University reunion and we wanted a lovely home where we could each have our own room but share common areas for meals and hanging out. This home was perfect. It's a super location - a nice 10 minute walk into the center of town and a two minute walk up to the Farmer's Market at the Railyard area.

I would highly recommend this house to others. Nice neighborhood, friendly neighbors, welcoming lady to show us around, well equipped. All the beds were very comfortable.

The owners were very friendly and accomodating. Santa Fe is paradise and spending a few days in this lovely home was a delight.
