About sally kuhn

We both grew up in Arkansas but with school have lived in Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Maryland. We eventually ended up in the Nashville area.

Our favorite family vacation is hiking, especially in the Smokies. We are trying to hit all the national parks with our kids.

sally kuhn purchased this cabin in 2010

Why sally kuhn chose Tennessee

We love the outdoors which is what drew us to this beautiful secluded cabin. We bought the cabin to have a vacation home that our kids would be drawn back to every year as they get older. We hope you and your family will enjoy it as much as we do and will use it to lure your family back together at special times.

What makes this cabin unique

We love the seclusion of the cabin and the changing views from the porch. Every 15 minutes the shadows and clouds have changed the incredible views off the deck. We also like the the easy access to the park and love being able to sneak in through Maryville instead of getting stuck in the traffic of Pigeon Forge.

We come to the Smokies to get away from it all. This cabin allows you to do that while still being within striking distance of all the go karts, funnel cake, and outlet malls we can handle.

The 9 acres has a stream and waterfall which was an added bonus we discovered after we bought it. Our kids have now become expert salamander hunters in the creek below the falls.

Nice, clean property with spectacular views

  • 4 of 5

The property was located close to Townsend and Pigeon Forge, but it provided seclusion away from the heavily populated tourist areas. It was clean, and the view was spectacular. Our family of 7 enjoyed Memorial Day weekend here, and we've missed it ever since we left. We enjoyed the campfire following a steak dinner cooked on the gas grill. Morning coffee was enjoyed on the back deck looking at the sunrise. The game room provided lots of activities for the teenagers.

Excellent Family Vaca

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at Antler Lodge. Our family had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Every morning, one by one we gathered on the deck facing the great Smoky Mountain National Park. What a view while enjoying the first cup of morning coffee. We had our share of up close wildlife experiences during our stay. We enjoyed watching the flying squirrels leave in the evening and some of us were usually up when they returned in the morning. We were also visited by a black bear who wandered onto the porch to check things out. We ran inside and he meandered away. The early morning hikes were especially enjoyed by our grandsons. All in all we were very pleased with everything about Antler Lodge. The pool table, air hockey table, foosball table, and hot tub were well used. The location of the lodge was perfect! Secluded, yet close to stores and attractions. Our group ranged in age from 14 months to 79 yrs and everyone had a great time. Thank you for making your beautiful lodge available for us "flat landers" to enjoy while visiting the mountains!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful time at Antlers Lodge! The guys rode their motorcycles on the Tail of the Dragon and they survived!! The girls and the grandson walked the whole 5 mile trip to Abrams Falls and back! Horse back riding and zip lining. The nice leisurely walk to Laurel Falls. Saw a couple bears. Soothed our weary muscles in the hot tub. Enjoyed smores by the fire. Cabin is large with plenty of room for everyone. Enjoyed family meals at the large table, and fun was had by all in the basement rec room. And best of all was sitting on the deck in our rocking chairs and looking out at that beautiful majestic mountain view! Absolutely gorgeous! We would love to return soon.

Memories Made in the Mountains

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonder time staying at Antlers Mountain Lodge. The cabin was clean, spacious, and comfortable with spectacular views of the mountains. We loved the Townsend area. I will cherish the memories of the time I spent with my adult children, and my sister and brother in law in the Smokey Mountains. We would love to return.

Wonderful Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best vacation at Antler's Mountain Lodge. The house is gorgeous. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed hiking and biking in the National Park and coming back to dinners in the cabin. The location is excellent. The house was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for 10 adults to spread out! An extra bonus: the fire pit, hot tub, and the neighborhood bears!! We will be back!
