About sally kuhn

We both grew up in Arkansas but with school have lived in Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Maryland. We eventually ended up in the Nashville area.

Our favorite family vacation is hiking, especially in the Smokies. We are trying to hit all the national parks with our kids.

sally kuhn purchased this cabin in 2010

Why sally kuhn chose Tennessee

We love the outdoors which is what drew us to this beautiful secluded cabin. We bought the cabin to have a vacation home that our kids would be drawn back to every year as they get older. We hope you and your family will enjoy it as much as we do and will use it to lure your family back together at special times.

What makes this cabin unique

We love the seclusion of the cabin and the changing views from the porch. Every 15 minutes the shadows and clouds have changed the incredible views off the deck. We also like the the easy access to the park and love being able to sneak in through Maryville instead of getting stuck in the traffic of Pigeon Forge.

We come to the Smokies to get away from it all. This cabin allows you to do that while still being within striking distance of all the go karts, funnel cake, and outlet malls we can handle.

The 9 acres has a stream and waterfall which was an added bonus we discovered after we bought it. Our kids have now become expert salamander hunters in the creek below the falls.

Amazing view!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this cabin. There were 7 adults and 2 toddlers, the accommodations were great. The kitchen was well supplied to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The view was amazing, the sunset was beautiful and different each evening. The only thing we lacked was seeing a bear! I think that is a good reason to come back. Will definitely stay again.

We've been visiting the Smokies for over 40 years. This was the best experience yet. House was beautiful and the caretakers were very helpful.

The Perfect Combination of Seclusion and Access, Indoor Luxury and Outdoor Fun

  • 5 of 5

Over the Labor Day weekend, our group of two baby boomers and eight Millennials could not have been happier here! Everyone said that your lodge was the perfect place for them to enjoy some peace and quiet while sharing the love of friends and family. Thank you for having a large dining table where we gathered to talk about our lives and share stories and laughs. The kitchen was very well supplied with all that we needed. Even our guest who is a professional baker was happy! The furniture, linens, woodwork, hot tub, everything was top notch and in very good condition.

The quiet and seclusion of Antlers Mountain Lodge was just what our group of busy people needed. The stars at night are amazing and we saw the Milky Way! We could not do that if we were in the middle of Gatlinburg! The view from all three floors is so beautiful and relaxing. The woodwork throughout lodge brings nature inside and adds to the relaxation. It is an easy drive into Townsend to buy groceries, eat a nice dinner out, or get some great soft-serve ice cream at Burger Master! The park is just ten minutes away.

In short, we want to come back next summer! Thanks again for sharing your mountain getaway with us!

Breathtaking views, Secluded, Spacious cabin

  • 5 of 5

Antler's Mountain Lodge has it all! Incredible inside and out. Beautiful scenery of the smokies day and night. The stars were absolutely beautiful! Very spacious for us and our adult children. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of sight seeing and hiking. Excellent location! Secluded but yet close to everything in the area. Most of our time there we gathered on the deck for coffee in the morning and star gazing at night and of course relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the fire pit as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be back.

Amazing Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at Antlers Mountain Lodge in July and had the most wonderful time. We visit the Smoky Mountains every summer but this year was exceptional. We have stayed in various cabins in past years but Antler's Mountain Lodge was superior. Large and roomy, immaculately clean and full of amenities. Everyone had a the luxury of a comfortable king bed with their own flat screen TV. The game room entertained us with the pool table, Foosball and large flat screen TV. There was plenty of room to leave the Monopoly board out to play at our leisure. The cabin has WI-FI but we didn't have the need for technology on family vacation time, and the kids didn't miss it with all that the cabin had to offer. The fire pit was awesome and we enjoyed roasting hot dogs and S'mores on the newly whittled sticks the boys made. The kitchen offered us many choices for cooking in, as there were top of the line appliances and cookware. The setting was quiet and secluded with a breathtaking view. The cabin also provided deck furniture on each of the three decks as well as a relaxing hot tub. We enjoyed many cabin only days. One evening we received a visit from a black bear who was scurrying up the road. Made my day! When we did venture out we enjoyed our favorite Cades Cove Loop visit, and hiking all over the national park. We also enjoyed horseback riding, tubing, visiting Dollywood, and the Arts and Craft trail in Gatlinburg. Old Mill Square is not to be missed. The cabin is located conveniently between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. The owners could not have been easier to work with and made sure our stay was exceptional. We are planning next year's trip and will be returning to Antler's Mountain Lodge. Thank you Kuhn Family for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Beautiful, secluded location! Spacious, accommodating several families! Perfect mountain getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable, and accommodated several families with children easily. It was close enough to town to do all of the fun activities Townsend offers, but far enough away that we felt we had our own special retreat. The owners were extremely responsive when an issue came up beyond their control and they took care of it right away. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning! Thank you!
