Escape to the Coast, eat fresh oysters, enjoy the small town atmosphere and friendly people, meet your fishing guide at the dock! This condo is located at the Water Street Hotel.
We live in Montana in the Summer 'Haying Season' and visit Apalachicola Regularly in the Fall, Winter & Spring.

People in the Apalachicola area are just so friendly and the place feel like home.
'Privately owned unit in the Water Street Hotel and Marina Complex, this unit has been extensively upgraded with a full kitchen, new granite counters and seating for four. The master bedroom has a new king bed with high end linens and towels. In addition there are two new HD Televisions and two Bluray players and upgraded television programming. There is a Bose Wave CD player in the living room with an IPod dock along with a wireless HP Printer for your convenience.'

Your are in walking distance to shopping and food. This place was fully stocked with cooking utensils pots and pans. Oh and let's not forget the coffee which they had. Sleeping was amazing! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Thought I was sleeping in my own bed. I would definitely rent this place again.
No detail missed with the accommodations! Just perfect with more than 100% of all necessary amenities in place! Great view of nature from outside the screened in deck. Very clean, top notch!
We had a great time in Appalachicola with a couple of dogs. The location was great and the condo was well furnished, clean, and quiet. Kathy was responsive and a great host.
Great location convenient to SGI, Cape San Blas and Mexico Beach. The rental was very nice with great view of river and walking distance to everything in Apalachicola. People in area were very friendly and we hope to return soon!
We were fighting an ant infestation our entire stay! We contacted the owner's representative after the first day of misery and all she offered was more spraying--which didn't work! No offer of relocation or refund. Just a statement that she had told us about the problem when we checked in. Really a little late as we had driven from out of town to the condo and had our vacation planned around the accommodations. We had ants in our beds and, if we cooked anything, ants crawling on our arms, legs and faces! Apparently, everyone at the hotel had been aware of this situation for a long time! We were even told by someone on sited that this happens frequently in the summer.
The unit also had cleanliness and maintenance issues. Found dead roaches on the kitchen floor upon arrival, and black curly hairs in the master bath tub, which also had rust spots and needed caulking. The shower door and tile was covered with soap scum. There were also spider webs on the ceiling of the porch, which had dirty screens. The Keurig coffee maker was broken.
Not happy with this experience!
This is a nice property which seems new and updated. However there were sugar ants everywhere even on the couch and in one of the beds. This made sleeping an issue. We had them come spray for ants during our stay but this did not help much. Otherwise the unit was nicely stocked and quiet.

Apalachicola means anything to do with fresh or salt water. We have the best oysters, renowned shallow water fishing, great restaurants, fun & funky shops and very friendly locals.
