Our 3 bedroom, 2 full bath is comfortably nestled next to the Tonto National Forest and has a fully fenced yard! It's simply a slice of heaven.

Please note, this is my second home, so I do have food in the fridge and clothes in the closet, but there is plenty of room for all of your stuff, not to worry!

For all Strawberry and Pine have to offer, be sure not to miss the hiking at fossil creek, the tonto national bridge, the honey stand, Old County Inn for the best pizza around and the chalet if you're looking for that dive bar experience.

The House Manual is to treat our cabin as your own, respect it and kindly leave it the way you found it. The staples of flour, sugar, coffee and spices are provided, everything else you must provide. We suggest stopping in Payson at the Walmart for most of your shopping or bring it up from the valley. In a pinch, there is Strawberry Market a mile away or Ponderosa market in Pine. If you use any additional supplies, please be kind and replace it or you will be charged.

Fire wood is not included in the price, we suggest you stop in Payson and grab a few bundles. Please ensure you know how to operate the fire place.

NO PETS are allowed under any circumstances.

There are also life saving medications and medical supplies on the property as I work in medicine and am prepared for all scenarios in case of emergency, please do not touch or tamper with.

The UTV in the garage is off limits due to liability reasons.

The grill is propane and must be wheeled out of the garage to solid ground for safe operation. If out, simply refill at Taylors in Pine.

The TVs are equipped with smart technology and have Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, as well as cable tv. You can stream or use chrome cast, the internet and wifi passcode are contained in the house manual. There are 2 white cameras one on the counter by the check in book and one on the table against the wall, these need to be unplugged upon check in, but please do not forget to plug back in when leaving. These are for security while we are away.

Please do all your laundry, bedding, load the dish washer and run, vacuum and clean up before leaving. Please take the garbage can to the curb Fri at 8 am for pick up. The cleaning fee does not cover your laundry or dishes.

Max is 4 people and there is a charge for additional guests up to 8, and there are no pets allowed, please note I do have pets that live on the property when I am there. If you are found to have pets on my property, my neighbors and outside surveillance will show it, you will forfeit your entire security deposit. Lastly please replace the key in the lock box, scramble the numbers and close the window for security.

For any questions or problems, feel free to call, email or text! Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: this is my second home so I do have a few personal items in the closet and food in the fridge, there is plenty of space for all of your items! As well, I am a very clean owner and expect renters to do the same.

Comfortable, cozy cabin with amazing views

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The cabin is gorgeous inside and out. The views from the patio were amazing. The home owner even left us a gift and a "congratulations". Top notch service with a top notch cabin. Will definitely be back.

Nice cabin.

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was very nice. Everything looked and felt very new. The only odd thing as a review posted below was how much food and things of the owners were there. Just tried to make sure that we kept our stuff in the fridge seperate so we didn’t accidentally take something of there’s. The WiFi did not work the whole trip but was a nice escape from the technology. Location was perfect. I also found it very odd that we had to wash and make the beds and pay for a cleaning fee. Just being picky and I understood there concern as we made the reservation late so maybe they didn’t have a turn around time. Not complaining just being honest on what we did. Overall it was a beautiful home/cabin. Thanks for letting us get away from reality for a weekend.

Owner's Response: Shannon, thanks for the review. As stated in my listing, this is my second home and I live there part time so my things are on site. Furthermore, it was thanksgiving and the Cleaning fee only covers light cleaning not the bedding as stated very clearly in the listing. Thank you

Birthday Trip in the Trees

  • 5 of 5

I took my wife up here for her 30th birthday. We also had her best friend and her husband meet us up here all the way from Virginia. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Wood floors, cozy beds, very comfortable and really made us feel at home. Great amenities like a bbq, firepit, hottub, and hamook. They left us a complimentary bottle of wine on the counter which was very sweet. Short drive up the road to a beautiful goat/lamma farm that has some gorgeous veiws. An odd thing that made us feel a little uneasy is that there was a full fridge and pantry and lots of personal items left in closets and bathrooms. We barley had room to fit our personal groceries. Making it seem like the owners of the home live out of the home unless it's being rented. Which isn't a huge deal really, just weird to see used razors in the shower and personal clothing hung up around the home. Another strange thing was there were some kind of medical needles in the fridge, again not a huge deal just not what you expect usually if you're coming in on vacation to a home. The shower in the master bathroom needs a little work, I think the hard water has rusted some of the holes on the rain showerhead so the water doesn't flow well. But again, these are little picky things that could possibly help better someone's experience. On an ending note, something that did bother us a bit was the furniture was covered in dog hair. The second I sat down on the couch my whole shirt was covered, although it says no pets on the overview of the home. Overall, the home is gorgeous, the area is beautiful. We loved exploring in the Tonto National Forest right across the street, saw a ton of wildlife in the Trees also. We loved it, and sincerely hope to be back at this property sometime very soon. Thanks for everything. Thirtyith birthday was a success.
