Overview

About the property

3 Bedroom + Loft, 2 Bath; Open Living, Dining & Kitchen

Take a deep breath of mountain air, and relax in this classic cabin, located less than 10 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe and Stateline. Enjoy your morning coffee or dinner on the deck, with only birds and the wind in the trees to break the quiet solitude. Relax on comfortable leather sofas in the living room, using the warmth of a natural gas fireplace to take the chill off cool evenings. Cook your vacation feasts in a large kitchen with plenty of counter space and all the cooking tools necessary.

Activities abound from the doorstep: venture by foot right out the back door to wooded trails; ride your mountain bike (only having to cross one road) to famed Mr. Toads and Tahoe Rim Trails, or road bike on any number of local mountain roads; relax and play in the lake at one of several South Lake beaches, less than 10 minutes away by car; make your own adventure in any of the other countless activities summer in the Sierras has to offer; or simply enjoy relaxing in the mountains.

There is plenty of space for your family or group to spread out. New furniture in January 2013 includes mattresses and box springs on all beds and leather sofa and armchairs in living room.

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable place to stay in Tahoe!

  • 5 of 5

Our second time staying at this property. As last time, a nice place to use as a home base to enjoy Tahoe. Location is rustic enough with the the back deck looking out to a forested area, but close enough to all that Tahoe has to offer. Trails just at the end of the street that are great for a morning run or a walk to enjoy the pines. Place has everything needed for cooking inside or out, with a great gas grill.

House was large enough that the 8 of us could carve out our own space to read, watch movies or get some work done. Would definitely stay here again in the future . . . .

Loved the property

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was so beautiful and spacious. It was so cozy and there was so much room that fit all seven of us. The location is so perfect in an amazing location with sledding hills all around and a big large yard. The owner was so hospitable and accommodating and easily accessible when needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone going to Tahoe and we will definitely be back.

Overall Satisfied

  • 5 of 5

This chalet-like cabin was idyllic. Great price, great location, and overall very comfortable for our two families to have rented over the Xmas-New Years break. Spacious and would definitely rent again.

Great Rental!

  • 5 of 5

Location is fantastic with trails for running/hiking down the street from the cabin, a short drive to the casinos, beach, groceries. Cabin has a great back deck overlooking a wooded area, large grill, fully stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, utensils, pots & pans, knives, coffee maker, etc. Owner is easy to communicate with and provided great service. Would definitely rent this cabin again in the future.

Quick Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at this rental. We wanted a quick getaway after a little league baseball tournament in a nearby city. The owner responded immediately and was amazing to work with for our last minute plans. We all loved the house. The kids thought it was awesome and loved all the toys and games that were in the home. I loved the great scenery and the rustic feel. The rental had everything we needed, was comfortable and quiet. The great deck was wonderful for our summer evenings outdoors. Would definitely stay here again and have already told my friends about it.
