My place is close to family-friendly activities, hiking, cross country skiing (Plain Hardware store), skiing/snowboarding (Stevens Pass), Lake Wenatchee, river floating, wineries, restaurants and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the views, and the location. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. We are located 30 minutes from Leavenworth, near Lake Wenatchee and the adorable town of Plain. In 25 minutes you can hit the slopes of Stevens Pass. Great winter fun and amazing in the summer, it's the perfect location.
Our beautifully decorated home is filled with German charm. A wonderful chef's kitchen with all your needs. Media space for those who wish to zone out, great room for gathering, outdoor eating area with BBQ, all on a half acre.
The house is all yours with the exception of anything behind a locked door. There is access to the garage for the strict purpose of electrical panel access and extra refrigerator space only. Otherwise the garage is private and locked off from guests.
This home is in the woods and may experience harsh winters. Though we have the driveway plowed it can become very slippery during the harsh winter months. Please take caution as you are visiting at your own risk. We are in a wildfire area so please be sure to observe the local outdoor fire rules.
The house is on a very friendly cul de sac, many neighbors are weekenders and some are full time residents. While enjoying a stroll around the neighborhood it is quite common to run into a friendly face. Within a 10 min drive you can hit up The Headwaters (the local watering hole) or for a lovely local breakfast the Old Mill Cafe. There is also a lovely winery in Plain, wonderfully named Plain Cellars. There are also many hiking trails, rivers, and Lake Wenatchee all within the surrounding area.
Bring a car as we are very rural! On special occasions like Oktoberfest you can grab a shuttle into the city of Leavenworth via the town of Plain.

Excellent House and Great Hot Tub
The best host is here! Our family had a great time here. Awesome layout and great amenities within the home. Additional bedrooms are hobbit size and one of them is within the master, so if you aren't afraid of sharing some space for a big group then you are good to go.
Thank you Chad! It was great hosting your family! We hope you had a wonderful stay. Prost!
Sweet cabin close to Leavenworth and Stevens
We rented the cabin for 4 nights during mid-winter break to do some skiing at Stevens. It was two families and it worked out perfectly for what we were looking for. It was extra snowy so we really loved the hot tub and being able to come off the mountain and warm up. The cabin was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Will definitely look at staying here again!
Loved our stay here! Super house, just a short walk or drive to the north end of the Plain Valley Nordic trails system. Feels homey, has a lot of supplies and tools in the kitchen and so felt really easy, not like many rental homes that are bare bones. Loved the huge tall ceilings and windows that overlook the trees. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, in a neighborhood but feels private. Snowed 18 inches right before we arrived and we had to shovel the driveway when we arrived, but by dinner time someone was there to plow the rest of it. The dryer wasn't working for our stay which was hard with a big bunch of kids playing in the snow a lot - and the owner was not able to find someone to repair it because it was a holiday weekend, and we did not bring very many extra clothes, so that was a bummer. Lastly, you cannot use a gas fireplace in this home -- that's the only thing I think that would really make this home extra special, to have a warm fire to be around after a day of skiing and snkw play. The hot tub was phenomenal, layout super, clean and organized and well-appointed. We would absolutely come again.
