Lovely Bungalow

  • 4 of 5

It was a very spacious property with 4 double bedrooms and plenty of rooms for relaxing after a day out. Ideally placed for touring the parts of Ireland we wanted to see and within easy reach of Dublin itself. One of the drawbacks we found was that the oven was not reliable, temperature wise, and there were a couple of occasions when we wanted to eat in. We had to wait for a couple of hours for the pizza to cook! George, the Manager, was there to meet us with coffee and soda bread which was most welcome after our journey. He was informative about the area and places worth a visit. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this Bungalow and area to our friends.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

A really lovely HomeAway from home with fantastic views across the Irish Sea. Very spacious even with eight adults sharing we never felt we were on top of each other. It is the perfect base point to visit other parts of Ireland with beautiful beaches nearby. George the manager met us when we arrived and gave us lots of tips on places to visit, the best restaurants and of course the best pubs to visit with live music. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely come back again.

Very enjoyable stay

  • 5 of 5

George, the manager was very helpful and welcoming, spending sufficient time to explain everything to us even though we arrived late on the Saturday.

The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable with all necessary conveniences, including the provision of a telescope in the sitting room. There are splendid views along the coast and out to sea from both the kitchen/dining room and sitting room.

The cottage is conveniently situated for all key visitor attractions in County Wicklow. Access to Dublin city centre is very easy by using the "DART" from Greystones railway station (less than half an hours drive away), with trains running at least every half hour.

The added bonus was seeing a Red Kite flying over the garden several times during our stay, this particular bird of prey is a fairly rare site in Ireland.

I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

An amazing property with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

This property is truly a gem. It is luxurious and has views that have to be seen to be believed. The pictures are amazing but do not truly do it justice. George was informative, friendly and ensured we were comfortable and prepared for our stay, sharing local knowledge as well as cake and coffee. Wicklow has to be one of the friendliest towns in existence. Everyone we met was incredibly proud of their town and eager to ensure we knew what local sites to visit.

We were there with our adult daughter, son and his girlfriend and the house swallowed us. We were able to walk to town and the golf course. There was a number of golf courses nearby and they were spectacular. It is not everyday you can golf and enjoy such amazing vistas. Truly a must visit!

Well kept house, comfortable, accessable with a spectatular view

  • 5 of 5

Following the usual trans-atlantic flight with its usual loss of sleep and early arrival, we were met at our convenience by George the property manager with a pot of tea and a loaf of delicious brown bread. We were only two couples but there was plenty of room for another 4 people. The house was well equipped and we found ourselves right at home. George spent about an hour helping us get acclimated to the area and gave us many interesting and helpful tips about where to go and what to do in the area. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a chance to explore southeast Ireland especially if golf is among their interests.
