About Russ Murley
I'm a self employed consulting meteorologist. I love to ski and golf and live "almost" full time in the Bethel area. My significant other owns a home on the coast and we spend a fair amount of time there in the spring, summer and fall. I love this home but want others to enjoy it when I'm down enjoying the coast!
Russ Murley purchased this House in 2016
Why Russ Murley chose South Oxford
These mountains are special to me and the views are spectacular. Our home is very close to an abundance of outside activities. We're just minutes from the Maine portion of the White Mountain National Forest - which is a beautiful piece of real estate with hiking, fishing and boating. The Mahoosucs are also very close and are the most beautiful mountains in New England. There are two nearby golf courses - including the stunning Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed Sunday River Course. Driftboat fishing, fly fishing and tons of nearby hiking are just a few of the other things you can do here!
What makes this House unique
Come for the tranquility and peace! We are in a very quiet neighborhood and there's far more wildlife than people in our subdivision. In a little over a year here, we have seen an abundance of deer, turkey, fox, moose and even a nearby bear and mountain lion sighting! Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the sunset from the large deck. There's always a nice breeze and the screen porch allows you to grill even when the weather turns damp! Plenty to do in all our home is perfect base for a vacation of adventure - or to just plain relax and catch up on your reading!

Fantastic cabin with fabulous views
The cabin is just wonderful. Well-equipped and located in a beautiful place. The hosts are responsive and caring.
Great ski getaway!
We all loved the house! Easy drive to Sunday River. Away from crowds in the condos all around the mountain. Peaceful and quiet.
We loved the house! It's a beautiful home, very comfortable and with all the amenities we were hoping for. We had a great time and would love to return sometime. The drive to Sunday River is an easy one and it's even closer to downtown Bethel.
Incredibly cozy and just about everything you'd want for a ski vacation!
Fabulous house with amazing views! Felt very high end, super comfortable, and cozy. The house had just about everything we needed. Hot tub after skiing was a bonus! Russ was incredibly helpful with any questions that we had. Would definitely rent this house again!
