This 2—bedroom/2—bath oceanfront condo is just feet from Maui’s world famous Ka’anapali beach. This majestic, 1,950 sq. ft (including the lanai) corner unit is one of Ka’anapali’s few truly beachfront condominiums. The 510 sq. ft. wrap-around lanai provides unparalleled views of the beach, the nearby islands of Molokai and Lanai, as well as the West Maui Mountains. Whether you are enjoying a fresh papaya in the morning or use the full kitchen to prepare fresh, local fish/steak, the beautiful views make the spacious lanai the perfect place to enjoy any meal. All of the rooms have floor to ceiling windows that provide amazing views of the ocean from both of the beds, as well as the living room and the kitchen. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen that was just fully remodeled, washer/dryer, free wireless high-speed internet, three large HD TVs with digital cable and DVD players, and a Wii. The two bedrooms have nice 32' flat-panel HDTVs. The living-room is complete with a 60' flat-panel, LCD HDTV, and all TVs have digital cable with an excellent sports package and on-demand.
Located on the 10th floor of one of Ka’anapali’s most desirable complexes, The Whaler, the condo is not only feet from the soft, sandy beach, but it also sits directly adjacent to the world-famous Whaler’s Village shopping center, and less than two miles from the beautiful town of Lahaina (which can be accessed via the convenient and fun ‘open air trolley car’). Located high up on the 10th floor, this condo is spectacularly isolated from the noises below. Keep the sliding doors open in your rooms, and while you sleep you can hear the relaxing sound of waves crashing just outside of the condo.
The condo is located on a paved promenade that stretches the length of Ka’anapali beach. Along this promenade are many of Maui’s premier stores and restaurants, as well as many of the exciting activities available on the island. There is an almost infinite amount of tropical activities at your fingertips. Surfing lessons, paddle-boarding, catamaran excursions, luaus, scuba diving, whale watching, and two top-class golf courses are just some of the many options that are available right outside the condo. If you are feeling even more adventurous, there is a plethora of day-trip adventures you can embark upon. You can take guided, sunrise/sunset tours of Haleakala (or even mountain bike down it!), go zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, or take a helicopter tour of the island. There is always something incredible to do on Maui, and this condo on Ka’anapali beach is located at the heart of everything.
The Whaler provides the luxury and convenience of combining the amenities of a hotel complex with those of a personal condominium. The Whaler is comprised of two 12-story towers. Over the last ~3 years, the property has completed over $30 million in renovations, including a newly renovated courtyard with koi ponds, as well as a new hot tub and new tile and railings on the lanais. The Whaler has a beautiful, oceanfront pool, complete with lounge chairs and shaded cabanas, a hot tub, and towel service. Immediately adjacent to the pool deck, is the towel cabana, where you can get a fresh towel to use both at the pool and on the beach. Also on the property is a fully equipped exercise room, business center, sauna, salon, 5 propane BBQs, convenient underground parking, and a bellhop.
This is a new, formerly unavailable 2BR/2BA unit on the rental market for the first time. There is a comfortable king bed in the master bedroom, and the second bedroom has two queen size beds and there is also an extra inflatable mattress in the unit.

Absolute heaven-can’t wait to return!
We feel so lucky to have found this gem of a place for our trip to Maui! Our family of 5 felt right at home from the minute we walked in. Everything is clean and comfortable, and this unit has the best views you could dream of! The condo is stocked with everything you need, plus a lovely, thoughtful gift basket! The amenities at the pool and beach are great; if you love the beach, I suggest getting the chairs and umbrella set up. The price is right, and you’ll have a place to sit all day. The staff at the building are very helpful and accommodating, and the owner of this condo is, too. Make sure to read and sign the guestbook, you will enjoy your stay on a whole new level. A Slice of Paradise
This is a perfect condo for a relaxing Hawaiian trip. This was a vacation for the family which is 3 generations ranging in age from 16 to 67. The condo easily accommodated all of us. The views are exactly as pictured and mesmerizing in person. Every room has sliding glass doors out to the very large lanai ... I fell asleep at night to the sound of the waves. One big plus for me is that the ocean-front lanai gets sun all day but the side lanai (which is huge) is in the shade in the afternoon --- the best of both worlds. It is a very short walk to the Whaler Village which has all sorts of shops and restaurants. Kanapali Golf Course is just a couple of minutes away. The front desk and valet parking services are excellent.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi is very slow ... but that might be an advantage to help disconnect from this wired world.
Amazing Panoramic Views
This is a very well equipped and maintained unit with amazing views of the ocean and Ka'anapali beach. Whales were visible from the wraparound balcony every day of our stay - Jan 24 to Feb 11, 2018. Sadly the water was very turbid around Blackrock during our stay but there is good snorkeling right off the beach in front of The Whalers getting better if you swim west to the point where the beach receives waves from 2 directions. Whalers Village, just a few steps away, has great restaurants and shops, and Lahaina, a terrific little town is just a 10 minute drive.
The owner could not have been nicer, from the gift basket on arrival to his quick response to our questions. We’ve already booked another stay, which really says it all.
Sadly thermal warming is leading to sea level rise which is threatening Maui’s beaches. Significant beach erosion has already occurred from Blackrock to Whalers Village, so if you want to enjoy Ka’anapali beach don’t put it off. It may not be as glorious as it is now in another decade.
The views from the lanai are breathtaking!! Unit comes with everything you need .
The condo could use a few upgrades, master bath being one. Wifi was very spotty, not a very good signal for the whole 10 days. Otherwise, a good time was had by all!
Fantastic week in Maui
We spent 8 nights in Maggie's condo and absolutely loved it. The unit is very clean, had a kitchen full of all the necessities needed to cook for 6 and the VIEW =Amazing! I will definitely miss waking up and having my coffee on the lanai. The Whaler is a great place to stay- an awesome location, our family has been going there for years. I stay at a lot of hotels for work travel and having a condo with the ability to cook, and comfortable place to hangout is not only a major cost savings, but relaxing as well. We have two little kids in our family and the ability to run up to the condo for nap time or lunch was a major plus. We all had a great time.

There is a $150 cleaning fee There is a $20/day resort fee charged by The Whaler resort that includes parking, high-speed internet, cable TV, small work-out facility, and use of the tennis courts with complementary racket/ball rental. This fee is paid to the front desk at check-in.
