About owner/property manager
Hi! I love rich colors, fine textures, well made things. On my downtime, I shop for staging items or go on foodie adventures. Portland is my go-to foodie staycation spot that's an easy train ride down. When I can get away-get away, I head to warmer places, like San Diego, Hotel Del, Coronado, and Cocoa Village, FL to bask in the gorgeous weather, immaculate architecture, and indulge in their food landmarks. When at home in Seattle, I spend time with the fluffy, cashmere-y Lady Grey and endlessly stage my home or other people's homes. For other fun, I like catching up with friends at the Columbia Tower Club. Or train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a couple times a week. Also planning to take up Judo. •••••••••••••••••••••••• 5 Things I Can't Live Without 1. Vegan cuisine 2. Art, of all kinds 3. Fried chili oil 4. C89.5 FM 5. What makes this Apartment unique
Easy self check-in with keybox. Guests check-in time is flexible after 5pm.
Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
Need some maintenance
The apartment was fine but needs maintenance. Such as the washer is still not working, entrance door handle is loose, shower handle is loose, sink stopper not sealing. All little things but effect the impression of the place. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders with the clean feeling of the suite
Comfy and Cute apartment
We really enjoyed our stay here. Bed/beddings and couch were extremely comfortable. Aileen responded to any emails/questions I had relatively quickly. Great location, took about 20-25 mins to downtown. I would definitely recommend staying here!
run down property, misleading write-up and unsympathetic owner
Though I was expecting this property to be "old" I was not expecting the musty smell covered by air freshener or to only be able to access the bathroom from the only bedroom which has no windows. While the owner clearly made efforts to make it "charming" the baseboards in the bathroom are dirty and stained and look moldy. The bathroom faucet was filthy. Additionally, the washing machine listed on the write-up had an out of order sign on it. I could go on and on. The floor above the bedroom makes very loud creaking noises every time someone walks across the floor, which they did up until 11pm. We are a work crew who are up at 5 so this was tough. I saw that the carpet had been vacuumed, but I honestly didn't want to walk on it in my bare feet. The yard which is one of the attempted selling features had old broken things all around and was unkept. All in all I was really happy to get out in the morning. This is all made worse by the fact that the owner was unwilling to refund any of the money from the five days I booked, even though I only stayed one night. All I can say is....you can do better. I use vacation rentals all the time for work and this is the first time I've had such a negative experience. Keep looking!
Great little apartment!
We loved Aileen's little apartment and the warm welcome we received upon check-in. The apartment had everything we needed- which was overflow space for our large family at Christmas time. Thank you!
Very nice area and beautiful space!
We loved the apartment, and Aileen was wonderful and very accommodating. Would absolutely stay again!
Comfortable place with plenty of space
A very charming space that my family of 3 enjoyed for a week. A short drive to downtown!
Seattle's only roller skating rink only minutes away.
