This small condominium complex of 14 units in a very peaceful and relaxing location on West Gulf Drive is just east of Tarpon Bay Road. Make yourself at home in paradise in this nicely furnished 2nd floor 2 bedroom 2 bath with den unit facing directly south overlooking the pool and beach to the Gulf of Mexico. The lanai extends across the front of the unit with sliders that fully open to the master bedroom and living room. Depending on the season, air conditioning becomes unnecessary with the unit opened up to the onshore breeze.
Reserved off street parking is just a few steps from the front door. Unit 12 is on the second of three occupied levels with elevator access or stairs. Stroll just steps to the pool or beach. The Sanibel Island beach is ranked as one of the top beaches for sunbathing, strolling, or just relaxing. The unit has a ground floor locker where guests may conveniently store their beach gear. Beach chairs, and an umbrella are provided for your comfort - so plan to relax in the sun and warmth. You will not be disappointed.
Owner provides unlimited long distance and internet service.
It is an easy walk or bike ride to the Bailey's General Store/Island Cinema/shops and restaurants.

Ok, but not great.
Unit is in a great location. Complex is small so pool and beach were never crowded. We had to call the rental company multiple times because we kept finding things wrong and we didn't even call them about everything. Unit really needs some minor improvements. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were filthy. Second bedroom for the kids doesn't have a TV. Elevator was broke for about 24 hours which left my 93 year old mother stranded inside. Storage unit is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, and cart. There was an ant infestation when we got there that was resolved by VIP. We would stay at this complex again but probably try a different unit.
We are quite concerned that our guest was not happy with his accommodations at White Sands 12. Our goal as a property manager is for all our guests to be happy campers and should they encounter a problem we are here to rectify that problem promptly and to the satisfaction of our guest. The Guest did report some issues and we responded and rectified the issue immediately. The Elevator and ant issues are the Condominium Associations responsibility and we reported this problems to them immediately. We had no control over either of those issues.
The condominium is a privately owned unit. This owner is aware that the unit needs a few upgrades. The Owner will be here this fall and address the furnishing issues. Again we are sorry this guest’s stay was not all it could have been. We are certain that this renter will be happy with the improvements next time they are here.
