About Annette Anderson

My husband and myself moved out here to raise our kids with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor living. Now the nest is empty, and we have lots of room to share, and a empty guest house. My husband is self employed and I have been a stay at home home, running the hobby farm. We are easy going, and open minded couple. Also planning on traveling ourselves in the near future.

Annette Anderson purchased this cabin in 2002

Why Annette Anderson chose British Columbia Mountains

Quit, wildlife, beautiful creek running through the property, the Columbia river is our back yard, and still just 10 minutes to town,an 4 minutes to Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

What makes this cabin unique

Beautiful view of Mt.Begbie from your cabin. Walk around the yard an enjoy the creek, land lox salmon in the fall, or frozen waterfall in winter. A place for all your toys from horses, quads, motorbikes, boats, canoes, sleds. You bring it we have the place for it.

What a beautiful retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed staying in this little log cabin. It was clean, comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. Nice to have the owners nearby in case there were any problems (which there weren't). The kitchen was great with a bar fridge, Keurig coffee machine, microwave and dishes. The mountain view from the new hot tub on the back deck was glorious. The front deck was a nice place to read in the evening to the sound of the creek. So much nicer than a hotel!

Annette has developed beautiful gardens that look so well maintained. Maddie, the puppy, is friendly and loves bringing back sticks. Comfy bed, lots of comforters and beautiful view from the back porch. A slice of heaven which we want to return to!

Like having your own personal park

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is small but had everything my wife and I needed. The property is beautifully landscaped with a creek to add relaxing sounds. Annette and Duane greeted us upon arrival and provided needed information. The house is 10 minutes south of town giving you a country environment yet close enough to meet your needs. Very close to Revelstoke National park and about 45 minutes from Glacier National Park, both worth the trip. Revelstoke seems to be an up and coming town worth visiting. We would recommend the cabin as a great base for your visit.

A fantastic hidden gem

  • 5 of 5

The property was extremely nice and the back of the cabin was very private. Enjoyed the tropical feel - we spent our evenings in the hot tub. Owners did an amazing job of providing mosquito deterrent (off rings and citronella, etc.). We felt it was a little piece of paradise. Owners are polite and accommodating - easy to access when needed and very responsive. The only part I would have adjusted was the size of the fridge but that was just because we were on the first lag of a week long trip and the fridge is a bar fridge (which fits perfectly in the cabin, and a bigger fridge would be intrusive in the size of the cabin). Already wanting to go back!

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

This was a great couples retreat. Our hosts were very welcoming. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The cabin was delightful and very private. Lots of things to do in the area, mountain biking, hiking, etc. Coming back to the cabin with a hot tub waiting was a delight. Would recommend it to anyone looking to chill out and unplug.

Beautiful & Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

Mu hubby & I stayed at this lovely cabin for 2 nights with our little ones & had a Great time! This was like a 'Home away from Home'. Both Duane & Annette (owners) were wonderful hosts & the Cabin was very clean, cozy, comfortable & well stocked. They had even thought of 'little extra comforts' for their guests, like cozy slippers, head lamps, mosquito coils, room spray, night light, etc. Also had a basket full of sand/beach toys for the kids & games on the lawn! The kids also liked their 2 dogs Maddy & Wesson. The owners have maintained the whole surrounding area/property around the cabin very nicely too. The Hot tub was very relaxing at the end of the day :) 'Thank you' Duane & Annette for a wonderful stay & we hope to be back again some day! We'll be very happy to recommend your cabin to others.
