Pond front home with private sandy beach and dock located in idyllic setting

Welcome to Big West Pond. Our home is located on a private road that winds through a forest of tall pines. Located directly on the pond, our home has a sandy beach with private dock and plenty of yard for enjoying the idyllic setting. Located just a few miles from downtown Plymouth, we offer perfect combination of access to all of the excitement that Plymouth offers combined with a serene setting to help you relax.

A long driveway leads you to the home tucked into the woods, sitting proudly above pond. Upon entering the home you will find a beautifully designed kitchen that flows seamlessly into the open concept living room with 12' of glass sliders overlooking the pond. The water is always in view from anywhere in the main living area. Granite counter tops, Jenn-Air cook top and a large center island provide a wonderful spot for the chef and their guests to interact.

Through the sliders lies a large deck with an elevated view of the pond. The deck is accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom.

On this level you will also find a bedroom with matching twin beds and a full bathroom with tub/shower combination to service this bedroom. Just beyond that lies the master bedroom with a spacious king size bed, private en suite master bathroom and of course, views of water!

A central staircase leads downstairs to another living space, complete with a full second kitchen, small living room and another private bedroom with a queen sized bed, a twin bed and en suite full bathroom. Not to worry, the kitchen and living space have their views of the pond as well. Also located on this level are a full sized washer/dryer and access to the garage, with ample storage and all the water toys you will need to enjoy your stay.

Included with your stay is access to our two kayaks and canoe. Please be sure to read carefully our contract regarding usage, as well as our notes regarding safety when on the water. We provide several sizes of life jackets which must always be worn when using the watercraft, regardless of age.

As you leave the house and walk towards the water, you will find a gently sloping lawn that guides you onto the white sandy beach. The water is almost always glass calm and generally stays very warm throughout the summer months. The gentle slopes of the property and waterfront allows for shallow waters, perfect for the kids to venture out safely.

While you could spend your entire vacation just enjoying the views and activities that the property provides, you are only minutes from one of the most vibrant and historic ocean front communities in the country in Plymouth. Whether history, antiquing, golfing (14 distinct and challenging courses in town), freshwater or saltwater fishing, sailing, shopping or dining is your thing, you will not be disappointed, Plymouth has it all.

For the adventuresome vacation, get ready. The Plymouth waterfront is teaming with activities. Rent a boat, hop on a whale watch, charter a fishing captain for a day chasing striped bass, tuna or even sharks and simply take a dip in the refreshing Atlantic. Head into the State Forest for miles of trails with fresh water ponds and lakes at every turn. Head to one of Plymouth's 14 golf courses, with enough variety to fit any level of player.

Looking to spend an afternoon shopping? You are just two miles from one of the largest outdoor shopping malls in New England (Colony Place) or stroll along Main Street and Water Street, where antiquing mixes with dining and historical stops along the historic waterfront. Stop for a cocktail overlooking Plymouth Rock or enjoy some chowder while overlooking the fishing fleet.

Located under an hour from both Boston and Providence, RI and less than 30 minutes from Cape Cod, Plymouth truly sits in the perfect spot to access all that Southern New England has to offer.

While we do love them, unfortunately we do not allow pets at the house.
