clean and cute
sweet little place near Robbinsville NC.
very clean, the beds are up in loft and wasn’t easy for us older folks to get up and down easily.
Beautiful, quiet, with all the ammenties.
Whether it's a one night stay or multiple, this place has it all. Great escape from the real world. Place was clean and stocked with supplies.
Home is ok/Area is run down
The tiny cabin had some nice features. However, the steps to the 2 lofts are much larger and farther apart than normal stairs even for a tiny home. Me and my dogs had to sleep downstairs because they could not get up there. There were stink bugs in the home. The adjacent property was run down and not mowed or trimmed. The area across from the home needed lawn work as well. There was a busy highway nearby that we were not told about it. The gas grill burners were rusted out. The hammocks shown in the picture had mold and mildew. The firepit was not cleaned out. The upstairs carpet was old and worn down. The home was misrepresented on Home Away. That's dishonest.
I don't believe the positive reviews are real. There is no way 2 adults and 4 small children could stay in this home. It's barely big enough for 2 adults.
I tried to talk to the owner and my friend Steve spoke to him also privately. When I talked to the owner he said no one else complained and he did not care if we left a negative review or not. They refused to refund our last 2 days as we left early. The owner said if we had told him he would have purchased new hammocks and a grill. The point was, he did not care unless someone complained.
Robbinsville has very few attributes to make it worthy of tourism. Gatlinburg is 70 miles away. We found a beautiful 1600 sq ft cabin in Sieverville for the same price as this one.
Save your money and rent something else.
OK number 1. I was threaten 2 days before there arrival that if I didn't cancel there reservation and give there money back they said that they would give a bad or horrible review. number 2 steps are 12 inches like a ladder. there is never bugs in the homes .the rolling hills that surround the property are not cut its very natural looks great. the highway is a 2 lane road over a 1/4mile away. I bought new hammocks and put them up for her and gave a better grill when they asked. the carpet is brand new in the lofts also was shocked to find futon broken towels missing blankets missing broke door knob cut her dogs hair on couches and left it every where broke my TV and was very rude I have many other reviews please look at them and make up your mind I try ed to do everything she wanted and nothing was good enough. gave them cash back for last 2 nights and they still gave me a bad reviews! some people you can't make happy :( and there is lakes hiking fishing the dragon water falls lots lots more to see
A thoughtful space, clean and welcoming
We booked this spot last minute, deciding to stay in a Tiny Home instead of camp. This was the last night of our minimoon and it offered a quiet and sweet space to be. We utilized the fire pit (and the wine!) and drifted off to the sounds of cicadas. The hosts were very good with communication and even leaving a little special gift to enjoy. We'd recommend checking it out!
Road trip oasis
Great location and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the backyard horseshoes and fire pit. We even had wifi!
The owners keep the cabin very clean and tidy and there is surprisingly a good amount of space in this tiny cabin.
Would highly recommend!
We loved our stay, myself, my husband and 4 grandsons. This tiny getaway is perfect to slow down and enjoy time spent together. We went and rode the train in Bryson City only to rush back to the coziness of this place, the campfire and the picnic and to enjoy the down time together .
