Road trip oasis
Great location and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the backyard horseshoes and fire pit. We even had wifi!
The owners keep the cabin very clean and tidy and there is surprisingly a good amount of space in this tiny cabin.
Would highly recommend!
We loved our stay, myself, my husband and 4 grandsons. This tiny getaway is perfect to slow down and enjoy time spent together. We went and rode the train in Bryson City only to rush back to the coziness of this place, the campfire and the picnic and to enjoy the down time together .
the little house was perfect for our getaway in the smokies. everything was included for cooking, cleaning, sleeping and entertainment. Robbinsville had some good restaurants but our favorite was Southern Gals-an excellent breakfast 3 days in a row!.the little house is situated in a central location to all the mountain activities. THANKS IRIS AND BRYAN!!
“Outdoorable” tiny home
We absolutely loved our three night getaway at “Little House on the Prairie”. The tiny home is cozy, sparkling clean and we had great communication with Brian and Iris.
Robbinsville is a quaint, small town which we love! There is a grocery store nearby and we enjoyed driving the Tail of the Dragon (next time on our motorcycle!) We also hiked the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, white water rafted the Nantahala River and went horseback riding up near Cherokee.
After days filled with adventure, it was great to wind down around a campfire and sleep with the windows open feeling the cool mountain breezes and listening to the crickets.
Our getaway was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Plus our 11 year old daughter got to brag she spent her 11th birthday in a “tiny home”!
Thanks you Brian and Iris for making her birthday an unforgettable one!
We had a 2 night stay.
I stayed at the 'Little House' with my 5 year old grandson and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We only made breakfast but didn't do any other meals. The cabin was nice a clean with comfortable beds. The TV was a challenge to operate so we gave up. There is no table and chairs or anyplace to put your plates while eating so if you are cooking a meal it might be uncomfortable. The owners are very nice and accommodating . If you have a question or require information, Brian will respond very promptly. Overall its a cute little place to stay if you want a nice rustic cabin.
Wonderful little cabin experience. We had a nice fire in the fire pit that evening after sitting next to the water feature for a while. The manager accommodated us with arriving early to park our motorcycle trailer so we could go ride the Dragon prior to check in. I would recommend this to anyone.
