A direct west-facing condominium, this is one of the premier condos in North Coast Village, with a great ocean view from the moment you walk in the door! The cozy yet elegant living area is beautifully furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, twin leather chairs, and two additional chairs, and a stone fireplace. The kitchen features granite counter tops and is open to the dining and living areas. The ensuite bedroom has a king size bed. The sunny balcony is the perfect place to have a leisurely meal and unwind.

North Coast Village is located between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, and is a favorite destination for people from around the world. The complex consists of nine three-story buildings surrounded by 2-story cottages, on several acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. You are just steps from the sand; there are no roads to cross-this is an OCEANFRONT COMPLEX! True Beach Town

The Unit was nicely appointed but the building is one where if someone walks above you -closes a door- drops something etc you will hear it. Very easy beach access close to the pier where bars and restaurants are as well as a short walk to town. Good place to plan day trips as the train takes you to San Diego and all points in between. If you like action this isn't your place this is strickly surf-sand and sitting.

Needed Respite From the Daily Grind

When we walked in to the VRBO Unit I had booked for a visit to Southern California, my husband (a confirmed work-aholic) said,"Can we live here?"

The unit was exactly as pictured. Our grown son shared the condo with us. He liked the price! But we all loved the comfortable beds, the kitchen, the balcony where we had coffee each morning, and the general layout. But best of all was the location! Footsteps to the sand is right! We walked on the beach every day! We visited the Pier and the Harbor Village, where we swam, kayaked, and treated ourselves to seafood in as many wonderful ways as possible. My husband and I sat on the beach with a glass of wine (me), and a IPA beer (him) and watched the sunset.

Our son is a plein air painter from Montana. He did several paintings on the beach and may have obtained gallery representation. We swam in the amazing Olympic size, heated pool almost everyday, too. We did all that and attended our niece's wedding, in 6 amazing days! All because of the perfect location! So convenient! Can't say enough about it! Will definitely try to come back and would stay at North Coast Village again!

Nice location a few things lacking

I thought the location of this condo was very nice. This was deducted from the other places for rent in the area. We ended up getting in late due to airplane closures and at 1:00 am the place to get the keys is very hard to find. A sign would be great for night time arriving guests. The main corridor on the floor we were on had an usual smell. Not totally bad, but different. Also the unit needs a new couch or recliner. Couch was not comfy at all to sit and watch a few minutes of T.V. Bedroom wall does need a paint job. Was close to our all time favorite bar Tony's and only 38 miles from San Diego. Close enough for the things we wanted to do in this area.

Great spot for a good price.

First of all, I have to say that everything in the condo and property was as described. There were no surprises, really. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the unit. It was very well maintained. We had one minor issue of the smoke alarm chirping and the agent took care of it that day. I would only make a few suggestions for improvement. It was unusually hot during our stay. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would have improved the comfort level at night. The kitchen had all the needed appliances, but was for some reason missing a garbage can. It would have been nice if they had supplied a few coffee filters since we arrived late and didn't have time to get some the night before. On that note, when we arrived at about 10 PM, the patrol office didn't have our unit key. The patrol officer said "this is a common problem." I got the impression this was an issue between the village HOA office and the patrol office and not the fault of the agent, because there was never any issue of whether we had properly reserved the unit.

Regardless, the location was perfect and a short walk to the ocean. We enjoyed the Lighthouse redtaurant at the marina and bought fresh fish and shrimp at the market there to grill at the community grill, too. Loved it!

Condo exceeded our expectations

This rental was fantastic! We really enjoyed the pool, ocean and grill. We had everything that we needed in the condo. It has a great view, with a great atmosphere, and all we needed. We are so glad that we found this property. The breeze was so nice at night and cooled off the condo nicely. Everything was in working order. The parking spot was easily accessible, and the condo was clean and looked like the picture. I especially loved the built in drawers and shelving in the closets, and they had plenty of hangars! This condo was much nicer than others that I have stayed at in this property.

The harbor had a great fish & chips, and Rockin' Baja Lobster had great Bloody Mary's. We plan to come back again!
