ABOUT THE HOUSE
Nestled close to S. Lamar on deep lot, you will pull up to this spacious 1500 Sq Foot modern townhome and park in the large 2 car driveway. You enter and feel the openness of the high ceilings, and look up to the hallway on the 2nd floor. The living room features 2 comfortable couches, one of which pulls out into a Queen size bed. We provide a wall mounted flat screen TV loaded up with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Streaming along with live TV.
The kitchen has been recently remodeled with stainless steel appliances, a granite counter, and contemporary cabinets. In the open concept kitchen/dining, we recently purchased a new table with bench seating to accommodate your larger party. We provide plenty of dishes/silverware along with various pots/pans/etc. for cooking. Our guests find our kitchen perfect for events such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Through the patio door, you'll step out onto our large deck. 2 sets of chairs/tables are provided, along with a grill and bench seating. Its a perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Austin.
Along with access to the garage, with its full size washer/dryer, the ground floor also has a recently renovated half bath.
Walking up the newly installed wooden staircase, you will reach the bedrooms. Our second floor features a double master setup. Both rooms have a Queen Size bed and a full ensuite bathroom with shower & tub.
The rooms are large enough, we were able to add a twin size bed in one, and a crib in the other to allow flexibility depending on your needs.
A short drive from downtown, this townhome in a great location, with easy access to South Lamar. Whole Foods headquarters is only 2 miles away. We are located in the Zilker neighborhood, so the park entrance is only 1.2 miles away, along with the running/hiking/biking trails around Lady Bird Lake.
Live music is at your fingertips as you can walk to ABGB, and Continental Club is only a short drive.
There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shopping within a 10 minute walk. Within a 5 minute drive, most of the trendy spots on S. Lamar are available including the Alamo Draft house, Uchi, Odd Duck, Ramen Tatsu-Ya, Saxon Pub, and the Highball to name a few.
If you don't have/rent a car, its easy enough to get around using Uber & Lyft. We are also located a short walk from a major bus stop making it easy to get downtown and to Zilker during the busy festival seasons.

Five of us girls - friends from high school (Illinois) for almost 50 years - picked Austin for our get together this time. This home was great, not too far to get to where we wanted to go and lots of places to eat close by. Neighborhood very quiet and felt safe.

Exactly what we were looking for
As advertised, a nice, clean comfortable spot close to downtown. It was great for a weekend getaway with friends.

Great location and good overall layout. Missing elements and nicer touches.
Good space for two couples. Some important small pieces missing like blow dryers in the bathrooms (no one packs those anymore and we had to buy one) and there wasn't coffee in the unit for our first morning. The linens and towels could have been much nicer for the cost of the rental and the labels on everything detracted from the feel of a nicer space.
We are very puzzled by these comments as we do have a blow dryer, coffee and nice sheets/towels above the standard thread counts.
With that being said...if for some reason our cleaning team missed something on their final walk through and if there is anything needed we are always happy to assist ..but its important that the guest contacts us and communicates with us so we can tend to ones needs.
Clean and comfortable!
All four of us girls loved this stay! It was cozy and clean, and centrally located to downtown restaurants and shops. Very spacious and nicely appointed, it met all of our needs. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Austin. Great for a girls' weekend getaway!
Good location, but...
This townhouse is in a good location, convenient to getting around Austin. It truly could use some sprucing up however. The beds and pillows are not great, and besides the kitchen, which is lovely, the rest of the space really has no decoration or character. The builder's flat paint thoughout the space is looking extremely tired and dirty, and overall the unit could use a deep clean. The worst was the "live" television, which was like watching an old Godzilla movie where the lips moving don't match the words that are being spoken.
We are sorry you did not love the property!! Most people like the decor simple and streamline. As far as the TV goes .....I could have re-set it but didn't know there was an issue .
We will certainly address these issues ASAP

Located in the Zilker Neighborhood only 2 miles from downtown. Walking distance to Chipotle, CVS, Chris Liquor Store, Taco Express, Black Sheep Lodge, Office Depot, Irie Bean Coffee and much more. Walk/Bike/Run on the extensive trails around Lady Bird Lake, catch some live music, or enjoy historic 6th street. Property was upgraded in July 2014 with a brand new AC/Heating system, May 2015 with new wood floors, and January 2016 with super fast internet.
