Lovely house and lots to do
Really enjoyed our stay. Soo much to do and explore but only had a few days. Geraldine’s house is lovely and welcoming and her hospitality is outstanding. Thank you soo much.
Thank you for the great review. It was a pleasure having you and your lovely family stay in my house.
I really appreciate you leaving the house so clean. Thanks again and I hope to see you return as you have lots more to see and do.
Lovely house in a beautiful setting!
We recently enjoyed several nights here. The house is located on a beautiful headland just a few kilometres from Cleggan, a tiny fishing village on the coast. We enjoyed the property and the entire area. The house is spacious and well laid out with comfortable bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and even a few fireplaces. Check in was super easy, the owner of the property very friendly, incredibly helpful, and got back to all questions promptly. This house is a perfect place to relax and unwind while also enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the Connemare coastline.
This cottage is 2km pass the little fishing village of Cleggan and 10km from Clifden the capital of Connemara. The Connemara national park is a 15min drive away and 10 mins more on to Kylemore abbey. Cleggan village has a seafood restaurant and the pubs have traditional music. fresh fish, lobster and crab can be got everyday. There is a riding centre for beach and mountain trekking. If you want to visit the island of Inish Bofin the ferry boat goes from Cleggan 3 times a day. There is an 18 hole golf course in Ballyconneely about 40 min drive. The cottage is 10 min from the uncrowded sandy beaches on the rugged coastline. Rossadilisk and Omey are wonderful walking areas to see Connemara ponies and wildlife or Bird watching.
