Thank you for viewing my amazing 3 bedroom 2/1/2 bath home at Coral Lagoon in Marathon, FL. This unit is the finest location in the entire development. As you can see from the photos, it is an end unit with bay views unlike most other units facing a skinny thin canal. Before I begin please call or email me for exact pricing. I am going to be flexible and base rates on how many people, time of stay and what season we are in. My home is unit number one which is a point lot with amazing bay views. There is also a great side yard along the side of unit so kids have some room or just a great place to relax. There is also a heated pool on site. The home has one king bed, one queen bed, and two twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use. There are flat screen TVs in all rooms and internet service is provided. You can relax under the covered decks with great views on the first and second floors. You have access to Vaca Cut in less than 3 minutes which allows you to be ocean or bay side in minutes. There is a large heated pool onsite for the wife and kids! This location is very close to many activities, restaurants, shopping, drug stores, all are minutes away. I will be happy to help with fishing and dive charters as well as boat rentals! I am renting the unit privately so you will save hundreds of dollars $$$, this is a very quiet, clean and peaceful place. You will not be disappointed. I was born and raised in south FL and have always loved the water boating and the keys! This place is amazing for me because we bring our Tooth brushes and we are ready to enjoy everything the keys has to offer, Key west is only 50 minutes away, just a great place!

Being an end unit its very private and quite, also i love being looking at bone fish bay in the morning, its also very nice to have the marina next door.

Best Thanksgiving Holiday!

We arrived at the house on Thanksgiving Day and the place was immaculate. Very clean, had everything we needed. We had a couple of questions upon our arrival and Amber/Ted were very responsive, even on the holiday. The view from the house really was the best on the property. AC was super cold and worked great. We were 2 couples and appreciated the spaciousness of the house. We've rented town homes in the past (HC) and always felt cramped but this stay, in this house was really perfect. Took the boat to Keys Fisheries for some Lobster Reubens and brought home a bunch of stone crabs, lobster tails and sides for dinner that evening. Island Tiki Bar is almost across the street for lunch and the Bloody Marys are the best I've had. Also took the boat to Sunset Grill (with a heated pool) for drinks and lunch on another day. I would easily recommend to a friend or family.

Fishing trip in Marathon

Wonderful home exceptional location. Unit was spotless on arrival. Didn't prepare any meals but it appeared the kitchen was well equipped . TV and Internet worked well. A/C kept the place extremely comfortable. The owner , Ted, responded to my texts within a few hours. My security deposit almost made it back to New Jersey before I did.

Would highly recommend this home, hopefully next years trip and the home availability will work out.

Nothing But Excuses

First of all, the place was very nice. Great location and clean. Close to everything. But when it comes to communication, there was a lot to be desired. Our payments were made on time and complete. I expected the same in return. Apparently, that was too much to ask. In the middle of March I sent a VRBO message to the owner asking about the deposit refund since it had been close to a month and I hadn't heard from anyone. I received no response back. Then I sent a text message to the Matthew, the property manager, asking when I should receive the deposit back because I hadn't heard anything since I sent the VRBO message to the owner. He asked for my address so he could get the deposit to me and so I texted it to him. Keep in mind every check I sent had my address on it. I waited for 2 weeks and when I hadn't received it, I called Matthew on 4/2 and he gave me excuses as to why it hasn't been sent. "He was busy" was the first excuse. "I need your address again". I texted it to him again. He assured me he would get it in the mail on Monday 4/4. On 4/21, I contacted VRBO and they said they would file a complaint. I heard nothing back from the owner. I waited until 4/26 and called Matthew back. He acted like he didn't know who I was. After he realized who I was he said, "you still haven't got it"? Then he gave me the excuse that he wasn't responsible for getting my deposit back to me and that I should contact the owner. WHAT? Why did you tell me that you would handle this 3 weeks prior and now I have to call the owner because "I have nothing to do with getting your deposit back to you". I called Ted and his demeanor was condescending and rude. I explained the situation and he told me "your money doesn't mean anything to me, bruh". I am not your "bruh". It was like I was accusing him of something. He gave me excuses about the shortcomings of his property manager and apologized for his words. He also said he needs to put his number on the listing. But by now, the damage had been done. He asked for my PayPal info. I finally received the deposit via PayPal after 2 months of emails and phone calls. After seeing the other review, It seems I'm not alone.

Great property!

our pre Christmas stay was just perfect. property manager Matthew was responsive, helpful and friendly. the unit is as it looks, very clean and spacious. what sets it apart is the views - beautiful vistas over the marina and canal. we spent our mornings on the decks (up & down) watching the early morning sun rise over the area. community pool is very nice with nice lounges and umbrellas. this unit is definitely the nicest one in the development due to the views. the complex is very well kept, quite and safe. highly recommended unit. nearby, Barracuda Grill & Butterfly Café have excellent food.

Stayed 27-30 Oct 15 with a party of six adults. We all wish it could have been longer! Definitely plan on coming back to this exact location. This rental is amazing and both the owner and property manager are professional, courteous and very responsive to all your needs and questions.

Perfect!

We spent 4 nights on a adults vacation. We had 6 in our group. We stayed Oct 1-5. It was wonderful and immaculate! I mean spotless. The decor is very nice and casual, the back deck is perfect to watch the sunrise! We brought our own boat, so having a slip a few feet away was ideal! By boat we toured around everywhere, even going out to Sombrero reef to snorkel. By car, restaurants and supplies are a short distance. The guy at the marina was super nice and the cats that hang out were entertaining! When we plan our next trip, we hope to rent this place again! If you don't have a boat, Capt Hooks is about 2 minutes, you can go on their excursions and they had a great selection of clothing and all things fishing and scuba/snorkeling related. We didn't want to leave! The restaurant diagonal across the road had a great sunset and awesome conch fritters. Can't say enough good things and the owners were quick and attentive, making getting in there easy.
