We LOVED the flat in Pimlico! The neighborhood was lovely and we enjoyed exploring it as much as the rest of London. The flat was a wonderful oasis after a long day of visiting all the sites. It is easy to get to from the Pimlico tube station. From the kitchen to the bedrooms, everything was wonderful! I would recommend this flat to anyone traveling looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay.
Me and friends enjoyed this apartment and it has good sized rooms. One of the bathrooms is small, but there is really good space everywhere else and a patio. Pimlico has all the shops and restaurants to make it convenient for you and there is a lot of culture to enjoy close by also. We walked around and used the local buses a lot, which is a good way to get around in the centre. No complaints and thank you for a great time in wonderful London.
Thanks for a great stay, guys. Being Australian, we all found the flat and Pimlico typically English, which we really enjoyed. We felt relaxed here and had all the space we needed. You can find shops and markets in the area and we walked around a lot. You are close to the rest of the centre of London too, which saves a lot of time. This is a good choice of flat, especially if you want to feel like a local and not a tourist!
We were really looking forward to living in Pimlico, and we weren't disappointed. Being so close to the river is wonderful, and we were able to walk to so many of the cultural locations we were interested in. The flat is comfortable and welcoming and the patio was a pleasant bonus. Thanks for a wonderful time. I would live here again for sure, as we didn't manage to see everything we wanted to.
Happy to write a review for this flat, we had a comfortable, problem-free stay. The flat has a kind of old-fashioned charm about it which suits the area nicely. The bedroom is very spacious, which is unusual for rental properties in London. All in all a good place to relax in central London, both flat and area wise. Thanks again...
Had an excellent stay on London and felt very at home here. The owners lived here once upon a time and although it is a little dated in parts it did not bother us. Everythng worked well and we liked it because it is not like a standard hotel apartment. We hope to return next year in summer and will book again.
We were pleased with this apartment. We stayed here in the middle of winter and it was a cosy home when we wanted to escape the rain, especially with the gas fireplace. Arrival and departure was straightforward and the airport transfer very useful. Thank you Team.
Pimlico is a small, safe area of central London within the city of Westminster. Like Belgravia, which is an extension of Pimlico, it is known for its grand garden squares and wonderful Regency architecture.
Pimlico is home to an impressive concentration of historic and prestigious landmarks. Its many lovely residential streets and buildings are very attractive. The high street is filled with local pubs, cafes and shops and the easy distance to Victoria makes getting to and around this area simple and quick.
Locals go to the popular Tachbrook Street Market for their food requirements. Fish, meat, fruit and veg are to be had from Monday till Saturday. Tate Britain, Home to British Art is located here, and there is plenty of exclusive shopping to be had also, as well as in those lovely neighbouring areas of Belgravia and Chelsea. Pretty and secure, with its calm village feel to it, Pimlico manages to combine high culture with everyday convenience such as excellent shopping and farmers markets, plus a very good bus service!
Its easy to forget how close you are to everything here. Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral and of course, The Palace of Westminster are all within close proximity. Strolling down to the Thames to take a quiet walk and recharge your batteries is also an option. The sights at night are to be recommended.
Enjoy the feel and cultural delights of this authentic London area and its posh, exciting neighbouring
